Hello everyone, so i am at a cross road. I applied to university of manitoba and Thompson rivers for my masters program. Manitoba(which is my 1st choice because of tuition) says ill be replied march ending or early april but i got a conditional admission into Thompson rivers yesterday night and i was asked to provide some documents and 1st installment of tuition fee which is about 1.8 million within 30 days before i can be given the admission letter which will be used at the embassy for visa purposes.

So I am worried that if i pay the fee for Thompson rivers and Manitoba ends up giving me admission, I might not be able to get a refund as i prefer Manitoba(Their refund policy is only on the ground of visa denial with evidence). Bearing in mind that the 30 days deadline wont be equal to when manitoba will make their decision. I dont want to lose both while waiting for the other

I am opting for asking Thompson rivers for an extension of the deadline and will like to get a second opinion from you all.

This decision is purely yours to make, u can ask for an extension but finally it's yours to decide which u want to

Thanks so much. You made my day. Keeping Cash hasn’t been so easy for me but I have to learn it. FD was liquidated yesterday. Thinking of doing Treasury bill for 6months with at least 8 to 10m but keeping such cash in account for long won’t be easy. We women have lot of stuffs to buy....lol

Ma’am, you’re about to repeat the same thing again in regards to your funds.

What about you wait after reapplication of your study permit before you go for the treasury bill.

There’s nothing wrong in submitting treasury bill if only you have the required funds (a reasonable amount compared to the previous one) in your personal account or business account (if it’s a sole signatory).

On how to tackle the purpose of visit.

Seeing that you want to reapply next month, As you wait for the Gcms note, go through that link and see how you can go about with the purpose of visit, perhaps you can start now to tackle it till You get the Gcms note then you kill it.

Bless you

As someone rightly said, it is purely your decision to make. You have probably decided since you prefer Manitoba but no admission YET.

You can always email TRU for extension. Use the 'requested documents' as delay/reason for asking for extension. No harm in trying!

I would choose TRU over any school in Manitoba simply because of the opportunities after school. #JustMy2Cents

You is a literate from your writings but still needs proper education. Now, sit down let me enlighten you, unfortunately you won't still understand as you is too busy been blatant and pompous over the knowledge that nobody is actually a bastion in its absolute efficiency.

Do well to be humble before you get blown off like a landmine due to your insensible demeanour. You better get sense before you play victim to your own inflexible sense of humour, and don't let your village people become your foe, so you can help yourself with the prayer.

Oga go get sense, its free!

Good evening, try PDF MERGER (www.pdfmerge.com) if they are pdf files and then you can compress on www.smallpdf.com
These are the sites I use but someone might have a better alternative.

Yes its advisable. The LOE should explain the refusal reason(s) and how it was tackled likewise any study gap or additional info that might help your case. The SOP should just focus on the reasons for studying such course, its future relevancy to you, and other important reasons associated with such studies etc
