Let me post this again. I will appreciate an answer:
Please I need some clarification.
I'm applying for study permit alone. With intention of applying for my husband and daughter after I get MY tRV/study visa.
In filling the form, there is a place where it's asked.
Are you going with your family?
Am I to tick yes or is it no? since I'm applying alone for now.
Please help, I don't want to make a mistake and I'm gathering information.

The answer should be NO as you're currently not traveling with them.

I am actually in the same situation. Kindly let me know how you managed it.

The answer is NO, since your spouse and kids aren't applying with you at this time.

Greetings House!!!
My Maternal uncle want to sponsor me for a 1 year certificate program on Global business management in Canada. I applied for admission and i got one last two weeks. My uncle owns a business which he registered. A friend suggested that he should act as my employer by paying me around 200 thousand naira every month with his business name. He has paid for two months now and am waiting for him to pay upto four months before i proceed with the visa process because according to what i ve read on this platform that i must provide my own four months statement of account. But am not convinced with the plan because i finished my nysc since 2016, and am also aware that i must explain to my VO through my SOP what i have been doing with my time for the past three years. But the truth of all these is that i am currently working but my earning is 45 thousand. Am CONFUSED here because i dont want to make mistake. If i write it down on my SOP that i resigned from my previous work before my uncle employed me few months ago will it be wise or should i just use my current work to apply for the visa then convince the VO in my SOP that my uncle decided to train me because he wants me to be part of his business. PLEASE SOMEONE SHOULD ASSIST ME ON THIS.
HAPPY VAL

lummy11:

Your uncle paying 200 thousand monthly might not be necessary
Make you can show proof of relationship and he also makes financial commitments by paying up your tuition and sending your living cost which is 10k CAD into your account and ensure you give detailed explanation of the transactions when writing your sop.
When I applied i didn’t submit my statement of account, even though i was working.I submitted only my sponsors statement of account and everything worked out fine.

To add to what lummy11 has said.

I prefer you go with the bolded and back it up with evidence namely,
1. Reference letter from employer,
2. pay stubs,
3. Work ID,
4. Resume and
6. salary bank statement (if any)

Pls what are the landed documents to submit or include in the application. Is it survey plan and deeds only? I intend to add land sales agreement as a way of showing how I got a certain lump sum of money in my account few days to applying.
Pls i need urgent response.

Thanks bro.... Another one, I submitted land purchase agreements from years ago and just wondering how they might wanna verify that? Was a supporting document anyways. Appreciate

Thank you very much for the answer. Pls one more thing. Can you explain more on the bold texts?
JustMellow:

This is were the SOP comes to play by stating reasons for such liquidation, the date, and showing proofs of the general histories via both recipients of such lump deposit. It shouldn't be much of a problem

The land sales agreement, receipts and survey plans are sufficient documents to show proof of ownership.

Hello everyone, so i am at a cross road. I applied to university of manitoba and Thompson rivers for my masters program. Manitoba(which is my 1st choice because of tuition) says ill be replied march ending or early april but i got a conditional admission into Thompson rivers yesterday night and i was asked to provide some documents and 1st installment of tuition fee which is about 1.8 million within 30 days before i can be given the admission letter which will be used at the embassy for visa purposes.

So I am worried that if i pay the fee for Thompson rivers and Manitoba ends up giving me admission, I might not be able to get a refund as i prefer Manitoba(Their refund policy is only on the ground of visa denial with evidence). Bearing in mind that the 30 days deadline wont be equal to when manitoba will make their decision. I dont want to lose both while waiting for the other

I am opting for asking Thompson rivers for an extension of the deadline and will like to get a second opinion from you all.

Hii, I have some questions about applying to TRU
I just sent you a PM

Thank you

Hi house,
I have two questions

1. Who has applied to Thompson Rivers here? I need some tips as I want to apply for the September intake and it looks confusing. I do have my transcript, resume and the $100 for the app ready.

I came across Maple education who are direct affiliates with TRU, will it give me an edge per admission if I use them?

2. If you get your MBA in the United States and work in IT or any other job for about 2 years, can you easily apply for PR in Canada? Will it be more straight forward Than applying from Nigeria?

Someone should please answer me

Thank you and God bless as you do so

Hmmm
Thank you. I'm just projecting and trying to weigh diff options
Is there any diff between Express Entry and PR?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by ralfudoh(m): 11:59am On Feb 17, 2019
Express entry issues you a PR (Permanent Residence) from Nigeria. And should you choose to study, you will enjoy low tuition fees. But study permit will only give you a TRV (Temporary Resident Visa). This is a longer route to get PR, as you would have to get a post graduate work permit first and have Canadian work experience before you can apply for PR.

Oh okay ... I believe via express entry route , you get your PR. I dropped the hint of express entry when I saw your profile and you are still considering study route .

Let the gurus with much more knowledge chip in there thoughts .

But whatever decision you make , I pray it favors you . Good luck in everything .

How many years experience is needed for Express entry?

Yes, they are strong ties to your application. When you eventually secure your TRV you can apply for SOWP for your hubby and TRV for your kids.
