Some should help me check this. Abeg!

Senator35:
Hello Famz, I am planning to apply for a Canadian study visa in few days. I got admission to study for an MSc/PhD degree in Chem & Pet Eng at University of Calgary. I applied initially for a PhD degree but was offered due nonavailability of enough funding to support my PhD studies. I was promised a change of program depending on my first semester performance. My scholarship is worth $21k per annual and will like to confirm if that funding will be enough for upkeep. Please note that the funding will be used to cater for the tuition fee as (tuition of about $14k for 1st year and $3k for 2nd). Thanks.

Goooodddd Afternoon beautiful people!!!

I just got an offer from Mcgill University and my program starts on the 17th of June. I'm very scared that i wont have enough time to process all required documentation and make it to school early. I plan on accepting the admission offer sometime next week when I have the acceptance deposit, but can I start my CAQ application even before I accept the offer?

Hi and congratulations on your offer of admission!

To answer question 2;
You will have to do your research by going to prodigy's website, they only give to some schools but you can see if McGill is on their list and if it is apply.
I wish you the very best.

I have a couple of questions and would appreciate the help of members of this thread;

1. I plan on accepting the admission offer sometime next week when I have the acceptance deposit, but can I start my CAQ application even before I accept the offer?

2. Please i would like to get insights on how i can apply for a student loan through progidy finance.

Thanking you all in anticipation of your response.

My dad was my sponsor, I added his business certificates, reference letter from bank, sponsorship letter ,landed properties survey, deeds to some shops in the market,SOA( personal had cash flow of 50m+ and closing of 8m,while the business cash flow was 100m+ with closing of about 13m both 6months respectively).
Please how do I apply for GCMS note as I don’t know anyone in canada and also how to I tackle this travel history stuff and not being able to fund myself without working since my dad is my sponsor and funds look good,or is it cause of my bank statement I Iincluded. ASAP

I do not know about undergrad. I know of grad cos i did it for someone. However I think it will apply to undergrad afterall the conditions are based on the country you come from and not intended level of study.

1st you need money but no1 here can say how much in particular but can say u need money to cover your one year stay at least.. den if u are here, that means none of us uses an agent..but it's totally up to u...u read the full thread and gain info on Wat u are applying for and how delicate each step is...also I bet you the agent will apply and not tell u or give u access to your own application portal...so finally like I said, it strictly up to u

Do you think I should request for a re-mark for the writing?

You have a good IELTS band score. Please go for a remark, there is likelihood that your writing score will increase on the long run.

Best of luck

I’m just so confused now sef, the reason we wanted to use my company in the first instance is because of home ties, my dad can sponsor me, that’s why I’m using my company as first sponsor and dad as second sponsor, but now that ure saying it has to be a big company with high influx of cash, i don’t understand anymore, my dad can sponsor and maybe my uncle too but the thing is issue of home ties, how do I convince the VO I’m coming back...pls advice... Didn’t know it would be this hard I just thought if I get admission all the rest na small thing, admission sef is the least of problems.

Don't be confused dude. You stand a better chance of securing a TRV if your dad is the prime sponsor to your visa application while the company or uncle represent as an auxiliary sponsor. Please check my previous POST on how you can convince the visa officer that you're a bonafide applicant and will depart Canada after your visit.

Best of luck.

Mr frank
Was thinking can I just tell my company to transfer the amount they wanna give me to my personal account, so then I wouldn’t even need to show my company bank statement at all.

Even though the company will be transferring the funds to your account, they must also provide their bank statement to evidence the source of the funds. Otherwise the visa officer will label it as a lump sum deposit which you intentionally borrowed from someone for the purpose of securing your TRV.
I recapitulate your dad should be your prime sponsor while the company stand as a co-sponsor and transfer the required funds to your bank account to demonstrate their eagerness and commitment to finance your studies abroad. I hope you heed to my advice and make the most of it.

Best of luck with your application.

good day friends. i recently applied for graduate diploma program in Canada. i am having issues with my proof of financial support. my immediate elder sister wishes to sponsor my education, she stays in uk and earn close to 4000pounds monthly, i want to ask if she can be my sponsor. my tuition fee is can$6300 which am to pay can$710 per semester and i learnt i need to provide an extra $10000 for living and housing expenses.

Hello house,

Is there anyone who attends or has attended Dalhousie or University of Manitoba?

What is your review of the university?

I have read really negative reviews about both universities so I am seeking more reviews and I hope someone may be able to shed more light on this.

Good afternoon house.... I received a correspondent letter( validity of biometric) on my CIC account.... Does it mean final decision is close? Or they are still reviewing my eligibility and background information?

Have you been instructed to complete a medical exam prior to the biometrics validity date? If No, I am afraid a decision has already been made on your application.

Frank please this is my story I was denied students Canada visa last year due to purpose of visit and they are not satisfied that I will come back after my studies, but if i get lmia from a company in Canada and convinced the visa officer I will come back after your my work permit expires will they give me visa please advice me well on which to use, is it to go for students visa or employment visa because I applied for University and also applied for work, please advice me well

My advice, go for the one you feel your chances are considerably high. Should you wish to apply for the both simultaneously, bear in mind that a background check will be put into effect on your study permit application. Thus, the two applications might coincide and the visa officer will found out that you've an active profile for a work permit and that you're actually not going to Canada for studies but rather to work.

Does that mean that one cannot receive correspondence letter b4 medical request sir? Does it mean that everyone that received correspondence letter b4 medical request were denied? I was this king correspondence comes after background check before eligibility review. My thought oh! I don't know ooh.

I heard of someone that got her eligibility review b4 her medical request. And she equally got her visa.
