how do I overcome the low self esteem? What kind of funding do they require, is it block account funding like in Germany? I'm actually seeking for a scholarship. With all sense of humility, I have a good academic record in my first degree but it seems the Nigerian system does not appreciate these things anymore. I want to ship out in a legit way but from a very humble home. Thanks

My advice:

1. Build your self esteem. I don't know how I will explain this but this goes beyond just reading self help books. For example, using the incident in your post...

There is a kind of demeanor your gestures will depict that girl would have given you full reps no matter your size. Haba now.. Gestures, appearance, composure and how you speak exudes your self esteem.


2. Make money I repeat Make money. This is not to impress but for yourself. Just make the money first , you will understand later.


3. Read books wildly. I believe you watched Game of Thrones? You saw that imp(my favorite actor in the series ). That guy had different women all over him with a dedicated lover for that matter.. He was a dwarf, but his intelligence is taller and well built like Karl drogo. His esteem, humour and doings says it all. He said, he may not know how to handle sword, arrows and fight wars but he has knowledge and intelligence that commands attention and directs victory. And where does knowledge comes from? Reading!

4. Hit the Gym. Adding some more flesh and growth Starts with physique and to do this you need physical exertion. Plus you will love it..


5. Kill Fashion. Mehn! Let your neighbour know you as that uncle that can dresssss!
