exactly. I'm sick and tired of hearing that. Did you watch the shooting footage?. I just uploaded on my WhatsApp status. Hard for me to watch.

Not long ago in one of the states in US, a Muslim guy who apparently appeared to be sick man or mentally unstable called 911 and told police that he sworn allegiance to !s!s and that he's ready to take on the police. One police officer engaged him but the Muslim guy was actually holding a knife to attack the officer. Officer shot him after several verbal commands to drop the knife. But he was not killed. Authority charged the guy for terrorism right away.

Obviously the guy is sick. Who calls authority and tell them he's a terrorist?. Who does that?. It doesn't take PhD to figure out he's sick in the head. But they called him terrorist outright and he has no weapons except a knife. If he was a white guy they would never charge him for terrorism.

I saw the 17 minute full video, I saw the video of the Adhan before the khutbah, I saw the video of the aftermath of the attack when the police were yet to arrive at the scene and many pictures in regards to the event. This is not intended to increase the grief of people but to show the conspiracy and the underground plans which surrounded this harrowing event, wallah its obvious that it's a sponsored and pre-meditated attack, for the following reasons: - How could one man take down a whole masjid single-handedly and so confidently without the fear of being killed by the worshippers or even the fear of the police rushing to save the situation, yet the attack lasted for over 10 minutes. On his way to the location, he connected a camera to his mask or helmet, which he also connected to his phone so the video can stream online live, if it was not planned, how can a common killer have the confidence to air a crime video when he knows anyone from NZ could be online watching at that time and foil his plans?



- On his way going, at a point he turned the camera to show his face willingly, why would a criminal show his face to the world when all criminals are known to hide their faces?

- He connected the camera when he was still quite fat away from the masjid, hence the camera showed his driving route all the way to the masjid, and even after the attack he didn't switch off the camera, rather he was still showing all his escape routes to the world, what kind of common criminal does this? Yet he still went away Scot free

- When he arrived the location of the An'nur masjid, he parked by the road side quite close to the gate of the masjid, he 'confidently' brough out his long assault rifle (not even a shot gun he could have hidden in a pocket) rather he brought it out openly and held it in his hands boldly to make it obvious that he is about to use the gun, he saw some people outside the gate but didn't harm them, perhaps he felt that if he shoots those people outside, those in the masjid who are his main targets would have fled before he gets inside. So he went inside the gate and was heading to the main door, then he started shooting (I don't need to explain the shooting scenes)

- At this stage, the video was already running for more than 7 minutes online, and the gun was not a silencer, the shots were loud for Allah's sake, even the cars passing by could hear it, does it mean none of this passerby contacted the police in an attack that lasted for more than 10 minutes in the middle of the city and not even an outskirt? The residents of the area claimed they all heard the shots for several minutes and they heard the screams, didn't any of them call the police? Yet it was reported that the police only came 15 minutes after the crime had happened.

- Another observation was that he was walking majestically throughout the operation, he neither ran nor hastened his steps at any point, he even entered the masjid confidently and kept shooting without him being afraid that what of an ambush was waiting for me outside, if this was not planned underground?


- Where he parked his car, he left his boots open and there were other ammunition in the boot, he didn't even mind that what if a passerby sees them and uses them to fight him?

- When he was running out of bullets, he went out majestically outside the gate all the way to his car again, he dropped the first gun and took another gun and still left his booth open again. He proceeded into the masjid again for the second time, this time around he didn't enter the gate directly, he went round the fences shooting at the people outside, cars were still passing by at high speed though, the police were still nowhere to be found, he went inside again and started shooting all the victims all over to make sure they are truly dead.

- When he was sure that there was no soul breathing in the masjid anymore except his own, he started walking out, on his way out he saw a Muslim woman who perhaps had been hiding somewhere in the masjid who was trying to jump out through the fence, he quickly shot at her, she still managed to jump off, this was where the criminal finally hastened his steps perhaps to make sure she doesn't escape, on reaching outside she saw her on the ground screaming: help, help, help
He confidently finished her at close range.

- Then he majestically went to close his booth and zoomed off, on his way going he still used the gun to break his front mirror and one of the side mirrors, because he was still shooting at some people who were on their way to jum'ah, the question here is: 'if he was afraid of being arrested or if he was actually 'escaping', why did he break his glasses and kept shooting at people when everyone can easily notice a car whose glasses are broken let alone if the driver is armed while holding a gun boldly? I don't think there is are security patrols or checkpoints in that vicinity.

- Finally, if it wasn't planned as a conspiracy, how can a man intend to finish a masjid without thinking of at least going with a partner who he will use as a backup in case anything goes wrong, it's just like an armed robber attacking a bank all alone while walking majestically and airing the video live, this has never happened anywhere.

As for the second attack which was at Linswood masjid, there was no video to that effect and it's not known whether it was the same criminal that still went there or someone else, but the summary of that one is that there were about 70 people in that masjid, when the criminal got there he started shooting at the elderly people closest to the door, he had shot at about 9 people when a brother quickly manoeuvred his way and pounced on him, they started dragging the gun and in the process the gun fell down, then the criminal started running away, the brother picked up the gun to shoot at him but the trigger was stiff, perhaps it had hooked or the brother didn't know how to shoot or uncock the gun, so the brother started chasing him but he jumped into the car and fled finally.

It is high time we realize that as much as the ultimate security is from Allah, we need to embrace the sunnah of having brothers on Ribaat in every masjid, had there been brothers know guard, Even if they are not armed, they would have already stopped and questioned him at the gate, however everything has happened as decreed and it's a lesson to us all across the globe.


Surprisingly, the senator was blaming the attacks on the Muslims and now the security forces are saying the serial killer has a mental problem, the media propaganda are always in the same manner but the Muslims should wake up and start taking security measures, because the blood of the Muslims are cheaper than water to this beasts. May Allah heal the injured and Grant the dead paradise, ameen.

News have it now that president Buhari wants to implement this before the inauguration of the newly elected assembly members and this may also brew a little resistance if Nigerians keep quiet about it. In view of the above, everyone who receives this and believes in this attempt by PMB to make the office less attractive should endeavor to circulate it.

I took some time to research on major negative changes in the world in the past two hundred years. As much as these changes are saddening, it brings utmost grieve to the heart knowing these changes are prevalent in the society today and they are not just waxing stronger, the propagators use everything available to spread them while those who should stand against them are compromising due to being labelled as repugnant and archaic.

Homosexuality is a vice that is old dating back to the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah recorded in religious texts. These immoral act gained ground and legalized in certain countries in the 21st century. It gets more unfortunate when a priest can choose not to wed a man and woman but could be imprisoned for not wedding a gay couple. The world has failed in crying against this barbaric act rather those who go against them are seen as barbaric. Much more unfortunate when you realize a country that swears in her president using the bible legalizes this act yet the pages where Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed for this act are not torn off.

In recent years, we have witnessed the rise of feminism with meninism now coming to limelight. The campaigners of this ideology do not actually teach equality rather they propagate hatred employing curses and insults just like atheists. Not too long ago (as at the time of this publication), I promised to write a rebuttal to a feminist called Nkechi Bianze. My rebuttal was met by being blocked on Facebook.

Most feminists are products of broken homes, have horrible childhood or have met men who have hurt them instead of loving a woman how they should. Feminism as an ideology is based on emotion not on intellectual grounds. The above mentioned feminist created a match making page where women meet men. why a feminist?. Funnily, the first four posts are women seeking men.

In the world today, we see people who call for gender equality. They want men and women to be granted equal rights, feminism is a branch of this. In a response to Dr Ijabla who wrote an article clamouring for gender equality, I explained why we should ask for EQUITY instead of equality.

If we were to take the meaning of equality into cognizance, there would be no priority sitting, women will not be granted maternity leave, no sick leave etc. In implementing equality,a family consisting of the father, mother, four children who are 17, 14, 10 and 2 years old respectively will feed on the same food of the same measure for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Explaining to Dr. Ijabla on why we should ask for equity not equality, I pointed out that equity is fairness in all situations. A man has right over and duties to a woman and vice versa. In the Yoruba and Indian movie industry, we have witnessed moral degeneration at its climax. Who knows that the likes of Jide Kosoko who starred in the movie “Ogbori Elomosho” would after 10-15 years act in a movie with ladies in skimpy skirts being kissed and fondled by those old enough to be their father. Who knows that civilization will take off the clothes of Indian actresses. About 15 years ago (as at the time of this publication), children can sit down with parents to watch a full movie, but now, it is not possible without a sense of guilt on the part of the parents since the scenes are full of nudity.

The music industry is nothing to write home about. While the male singers continue to be dressed, the female singers and dancers shamelessly grace our TV screens with pants and bras. It is rare to find a video in hip-hop where nudity is not displayed.

The church is not excluded. The church is know to have moved with time, compromising many of its tenets for what is in trend. It is now common for Christians to say Christianity is not a religion because religion is being stigmatized given the advent of atheists. Christianity remains a religion so far it involves believing in a supernatural controlling power and worship of a deity.

The changes are so many and they have affected almost all life sections. Islam as a religion as not changed and will never change though the same cannot be said of many who lay claim to being Muslims. while true Muslims continue ti contribute to science, technology and other life sectors, the fundamental teachings of
Islam has not changed and will never change.

Allah is the guardian of Islam, we are the custodian. We will not in the name of liberalism, civilization make homosexuality, nudity, alcohol consumption etc permissible. Those who have been at the receiving end of these vices know it is not to their advantage and we will not compromise to join them rather we will exert efforts i propagating what is right that they may know.

Those who who have lost loved ones to alcohol, those who have lost their properties to interest based loans know what it is to be at the receiving end of these vices. On no grounds are we going to accept any ideology or interpretation of Qur’an verses that are not know to be from prophet Muhammad (pbuh), the companions and the salafs. Be it a sheikh or professor, Islam is not for modernists or orientalists.

If a man takes what is bitter and makes a face as if that which is bitter is sweet, if he takes what is sweet and makes a face as if that which is sweet is bitter, in few seconds, he will make a face that appears he has taken what is sweet to that which is sweet and to that which is bitter, he will eventually make a face that tells he has taken what is better. Such is the similitude between what is right and what is wrong.

No matter how long people believe lies or throw themselves in delusion, the truth remains the truth. If interest free loans in Islam is barbarism and the modern day banking is civilization, I will rather remain barbaric than being civilized.

they can quote anything they want. Can you verify their identities?. They always cover their faces. Anyone can quote anything just like we quote Bible. So this means nothing. It doesn't take PhD to figure out they are funded criminals. Besides, why are we even talking about this?. Sri Lanka govt didn't talk about religion. Why are these people talking about religion?.

Separating Onikijipa from his political misconduct

Shortly after I was reportedly declared wanted by the Kwara State government last year and my subsequent engagement with the state CID over the activities of Kwara Must Change, a video of our respected Sheikh, Sulaimon Farooq Onikijipa surfaced online.


In the video which was detested by many Kwarans, the respected Sheikh, who suddenly became hated by many was seen boasting about the in-defeatability of the Saraki dynasty.

Like many Kwarans, who are working for the enthronement of a truly democratic state, the content of the video was, to say the least, unfortunate and I was almost joining those publicly castigating the scholar, but I realized early that like every other human, scholars too can be sentimental based on their interest and affiliation.

Even before the political blunder of the scholar, I have had a course to disagree with him on several occasions.

I disagreed with him over some comments directed to Sheikh Habeebullah Al-Ilory, disagreed with him over some spiritual claims particularly as regards money and even disagreed with him over his remarks to Sheikh Muyideen Ajani Bello.

However, disagreeing with Sheikh Onikijipa doesn’t make him less seminal or revered based on his scholarly engagement over the years. We must learn to separate Onikijipa from his political misconduct.

While it is proper to respectfully disagree with anyone on issues, we must never take such disagreement to the level of hatred. As people of fate, we have been directed never to hate any human, though we may hate their misconduct, which is exactly what I did.

In a popular TV advert many years ago, it was stated that there is some element of goodness in every man and so is the case of Sheikh Farouq Onikijipa.

As much as the scholar is now rightly seen in the negative as a result of his self-defeated overconfidence in a bad political product due to an alliance, a significant positivity of Onikijipa that can never be washed away is his undeniable commitment to youth development.

For many years, we have heard numerous stories of sheikh’s contribution to several youths and student organizations and these positive contributions cannot be disregarded because of his political sentiment or blunder.

Similarly, Sheikh Farooq’s public sensitization on the need for cohesion and unity among the Ulama’s while responding to the outright condemnation of Alfa Jabata by many, over his anti-social preaching, is one great service to the society.

Many including this writer had at one time or the other feel pained by Alfa Jabata’s regular miss-yans, sometimes feeling tempted to use derogatory terms to describe the scholar.

But after listening to Onikijjipa’s broader perspective, full of wisdom and caution, one suddenly felt the need to sympathize, rather than condemn Alfa Jabata.

From Onikiipa’s teaching regarding Jabata, many learned the acts of accommodation of different ideology without bitterness, while praying that the other party also improve and grow in understanding.

I am therefore of the opinion that we must sympathize, rather than throw Sheikh Sulaimon Farouq under the bus. As a matter of fact, more than ever before, I am eager to meet with Sheikh Sulaimon to hear his reason for putting out such dangerous preaching out at such a critical time, especially when our group, Kwara Must Change had been calling for caution on the part of the scholars and the traditional rulers.

Finally, let me conclude that, we have won our freedom, but the change we seek is yet to be achieved.

That change, to my understanding, will only come, through patience with the new government and our collective efforts to make things better.

I hope you do understand that this is a major tenet. Abandoning it is kufr. Intentionally breaking fast without valid excuse attracts kafara - 60 consecutive days of fasting.
