You see, the truth which no experienced investor or trader on NSE can deny is that the act of buying a stock and going to sleep with the hope of waking up after some years to see a bountiful harvest is nothing but suicide mission. Some of us you see here today with aversion for long terming are products of the bitter experiences of it. You could see a stock today apparently sound with 100% score on feasibility of using it for long term only for you, two years thereafter, to start hearing stories that touch on that very stock. No stock on NSE is immune enough to disaster for as long as an eight year confidence in it.
You will be safer to buy a stock of your choice after your due diligence, and then stay awake to take any momentary opportunity of profit it brings you.
For example, whoever bought FO at N8 eight years ago and went to sleep with the mindset of long term would as of today have missed selling when it twice peaked at above N300 and now wobbling at N24 amidst very deadly uncertainties.
Long terming is supposedly a means to an end and not the end itself.

I'm of few words in reality actually, forget this online shakara upandan. grin
Anyway, my luff can only tell me to let go, not to be joined in any insult and abusive words with anyone. tongue
Thanks anyway, this type of thing makes someone to know the kind of people you're surrounded with.

Q1 Ans: You'll open account with a stock broker of your choice.

Q2 Ans: I will recommend Morgan Capital. Their rate is still the lowest in the industry now, they are digital broker. You may also consider Cashcraft if you prefer analogue broker.

Q3 Ans: You should consider dividend paying stock that is consistent with dividend payment. There are quite a number of them on the exchange, you should however be keeping track of news on such coy, one of the ways is to be following this thread too.

Q4 Ans: All of the above. smiley

There are analogue and digital stockbroking houses. If you choose to use an analogue one, you will be having to go to their office physically in person to fill mandate forms each time you want to buy or sell. A merciful analogue stockbroking house would request that you take home a copy of their mandate form, and whenever you want to buy or sell, you fill it, sign, and send a scanned copy of it to their email address before they execute your mandate.
But with a digital stockbroking house, you do the buying and selling right from the comfort of your house or office with a computer or a smart phone with internet subscription.

To register with a stockbroking house of your choice, go physically to their office and fill their registration form, and also provide your passport photographs, evidence of residential address, Identity document, and all that jazz.

For me o, I will say you can start looking at honeywell from 1.10 downwards.
From 1.10 start accumulating, if it falls further and you still have funds, you buy more.
Let me add this: You keep your eyes on the price movement if it gets to 1.10 and see if it has tendency to fall further so you can bid lower.
Also, let me add that month of March is their year end, their Q4 result is expected anytime from now. So you can just keep eyes on it.
Na my opinion be that oooo. grin

Your opinion is illuminating. Thanks a milli

Though I can't vividly recollect the language our gurus used here, it was about a feeling that there is too much of competition for the quoted flour companies from their unquoted partners which will likely progressively worsen far into the future.

Thanks.

You welcome.
In case you're far from Lag, you may call Morgan Capital to make inquiry on how to go about registering and if you can do that via mail. Then you take it up from there.

lol. I hope you understand me. It may or may not fall below 1.10.
Another opportunity could come once they release result that may be below expectation (not saying the result will be bad) and people rush to dump it, you just keep watch on the price movement, once it stabilizes you opt in. Na another strategy be that. lipsrsealed grin

I hope people are not buying for general bull.Any stock I hold now is just for individual stock bull. The era of general bull is gone.
