10 point, (Associate Degree/Advanced Diploma) dats AQF level 6 equivalent to HND.

LondonBook:
Please, how many points would be awarded for an outcome that came with Associate Degree/Advanced Diploma? I need confirmed answer as I already know BSc and Diploma points. Just wondering the point that would be awarded to this AQF Level.

Please who has recent experience with statutory declaration for ACS Assessment? I need advice

They say it has to be from a colleague preferably a supervisor or manager.

So the thing is, can a manager who also no longer works there -YES declare for me, and does the person have to go to court with me or the person can write and I take to court YES

The department I worked under split and merged with a different organization to form another company. So getting an experience letter has been difficult.

please, I need your advice.

For a start, you need to rewrite your English test for a 20 point score.

Subclass 187 is not an independent skill visa.

Good evening, please I am a bit confused and need some clarifications. I studied mechanical engineering and my experience is on fleet maintenance (repair and maintenance of fleet).

when doing my assessment with the Australian engineers body do I go for a professional engineer or technogist or manager,because my experience will be used in my assessment (right). so my certificate is more of a professional engineer but my experience isn't.

please help hope you understand the question. Any engineer in the house @bellong.

Dear team,

I commend the posts and responses of the members of this forum. They have helped many indeed.
I submitted EOI on 489 (family sponsor) at NSW in January but yet to receive an invite.
I have bachelor and masters in Mechanical Engineering with an overall score of 65 points. My questions are:
1. Can my sponsor assist in anyway in order to receive a faster invitation to apply for visa?
2. How long does a positive assessment last? I got mine in November, 2016.
Moreover, I welcome any advice as I will be willing to withdraw the earlier EOI and choose any region in any state if need be.

Regards.

Hello everyone,

I want to start by saying big thanks to you all, the information contained in this thread is helping me a lot as I'm preparing for my skills assessment.

My background;
1. Education - BSc Systems Engineering
2. Work Experience - 9 yrs post NYSC as a business analyst / project manager at a software firm

From all I've read it seems that I have to do my ACS assessment for ANZSCO code 261111 using the RPL route, since my qualification and my work experience do not match. (Please correct me if I've come to the wrong conclusion).

Also, can anyone help me out with a sample of a submitted RPL? I would really appreciate it...

Thanks

@Olinga,

1. Some do contact your office for confirmation while others may not provided you supply enough evidence to support your employment.

2. You don't need introduction letter from your employer if they refuse to issue you a reference letter. What you can do is a statutory declaration of employment and certify it before a JP or in court. The declaration will include all information that should be on employment reference letter with additional explanation on why you can't get the reference letter. You will include a contact person preferably your direct line manager. A copy of the declaration is attached to this thread or the first thread (opening page). I believe your company wouldn't deny you don't work there they are contacted for confirmation.

3. It will be unwise to do so. It may not go through the scrutiny of Home affairs during the main application. I don't think it will be wise to waste such thousands of dollars. No point using a false experience when you have the real experience. Your company have no right to deny you don't work for them when they are contacted. If you know your right, it is a subject for big litigation.

Go ahead and use your real experience. Use a statutory declaration of employment and add other evidence including payslip, bank statement, tax certificate, pension statement, confirmation and promotion letter and anything to substantiate the employment.

@Ogeka,

If your experience is more about repairing cars, I will suggest you nominate a motor mechanic. You have faster chance of invitation than mechanical engineering.

You will still be able to claim 15 points from education.
Re: DIY Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa - Part 2 by bellong: 5:37am On Apr 24, 2019
@ChampXC,

1. Your sponsor family cannot do anything to expedite the process apart from the nomination. This is where a state regional sponsor is better.

2. According to the Migration Regulations 1994 (amended) from July 1, 2014, a skills assessment is valid for three years from the date of issue except a shorter period is indicated on the assessment.

I think you should chase a 489 from any region as November 2019 is almost here.

Hi Bellong,

My skill assessment as a Materials Engineer will expire by December this year but am still struggling with my English exams (For now it's LRWS 7777.5)

I need assistance on how to chase this 489 Aussie migration option based on my discipline as a Materials Engineer.

Thank you in advance.

You can always apply for remark, it would cost a free though, BUT check the school you intend applying for most uni requires a band of 6-6.5

Your profile does not require RPL. System engineering will be recognised by ACS. However if ACS says otherwise after your application, you will be adviced to submit RPL.

Thanks a lot Bellong.
I feel very pleased and recognized by your delightful response. Please keep it up as you put hope on many colleagues in this forum and readers.

I did EOI on regional 489 at NSW and waited for 11 months without invitation. I later withdrew it and re-submitted the EOI in January, 2019 at same NSW on family sponsor immediately my cousin was given a PR.
1. Can I do additional EOI on regional 489 without withdrawing the EOI on family sponsor?
2. Can I request the selected region via communication before or after the submission of EOI to expedite my nomination?
Please assist with your kind response and counsel once more as I don't want to give up at this time. I welcome any region in any State that you could suggest to me.

Only South Australia sponsors Materials Engineer and it is on special conditions.
