Russ is out of his prime.
That shot he loves to make: the one he blows pass his defender and shoots just around the free throw line. His not even making that at a decent rate anymore.

Paul George really said that game-winning, series closing shot was a bad shot

Per Second Spectrum, Lillard is 8-of-12 from 30-plus feet this postseason, compared to 6-of-38 for everyone else.

He's right that it's a bad shot for anyone else but not the guy with the ball at the time

It was IMO a low percentage shot but not a bad shot given that it was lillard taking it and the circumstance at the time

This is what I was trying to say when I compared Lillards accuracy to Curry. He is not the best lights out shooter, but boy, he is dangerously consistent on those parking lot 3s.

All the curry lovers that were attacking me lipsrsealed eruditor pointguardusa see what i mean?

I see ooo. He's an excellent shooter from near halfcourt.

Now that dust is settled and the next round beckons on us, I have one request for the NBA through its referees for the Celtics v Bucks series.

I understand there is an intentional push by the league to have Giannis become the face of the league and to denounce the idea that small market teams can not cope in the current league.

I am not one to complain about officiating but it is imperative I raise this concern considering the antecedents going into the series. Please and please, officiate the game respectfully and fairly. Appropriate fouls fairly and accordingly without bias because one player is in the run in for the MVP or the face of the league.

Lol, intentional push. I'm sorry, they still consider Lebron the face of the NBA. The reason why all these other names are even coming up is cos Lebron is not in the playoffs. Just wait till next season begins.
Re: The NBA Begins by Khanben: 6:46pm On Apr 24, 2019
Just saw a stat that is incredible, Dame shoots 39% from beyond 30ft for this season. To put that into perspective PG13 shoots 39% from trey all season.

PS: Dame is 8 of 12 from beyond 30ft in the playoffs. Freaking 67% from way down town

That's the thing. You guys are in a hurry. Give it time as I am confident that He would not only get to the SeminFinals, He will Win it.
So what makes Pep different from the rest?

If you pump a manager with that much money over an extended period of time it is likely you eventually win a CL. However it must still be on record that Pep spent over half a billion at City and didn't get past the quarterfinals
Re: The NBA Begins by Killrhymz: 7:24pm On Apr 24, 2019
My advice for Westbrook for next season woluld be "shoot less, pass more"

That's the point. It's not low percentage for Damian Lillard. He actually stepped back and launched when he could have tried to draw contact or drive to the rim to drop a floater. The confidence was supreme

Steph Curry has the edge but as we have seen from Dame he can also go off on any given night. The margin between them is minimal

This is kinda true though but when it comes to panic and improvisation shots GIVE ME THE SPICE CHEF!

If you said they had the same range I would have agreed. You said Steph and Dame were about the same shooting wise which is why I disagreed. Steph is 44% or so over the course of this career. Dame is like 38%+ or so. There are levels to this thing.
Re: The NBA Begins by Eruditor: 10:59pm On Apr 24, 2019
A40:

No. We said he played like one! He shot poorly throughout the series. That is the bitter truth. Every player has had bad series, even LeNomad James

Anyway no point delving deeper into the number of times he was given the ball with 2 seconds left on the clock because if we ask you to show and prove you might not be able to do so

Nope. KD shot 52% last season and shot 52% this season. His numbers were identical

Oladipo went from approx 48% shooting last season to 42% shooting. Significant difference

How is Koeman great? What was his record before going to Everton

This one is neither here nor there. The difference between Pep's scenario and that of Benitez boils down to the former dealing with more patient employers. Even Pep knows that is why he is very selective of the type of teams he moves to

Mourinho won how many trophies his first tenure at Chelsea? He had the cache to earn another season

Mourinho won the CDR in his first year at Madrid ending a 4 year trophyless run

Lol what was Napoli's investment this season? Compare to Juventus adding Cristiano Ronaldo. Bottom line they are in the same boat with Sarri's team that won nothing and didn't even make the quarterfinals of the Europa

Everyone knows Klopp's target is CL and EPL. This is the first year he has had enough significant investment to compete and you can see for yourself the impact. I can bet you're praying fervently for City to win else your boy would be stuck with a Mickey mouse double

Lmaooo. Let's run down the teams Pep has faced in this season's FA Cup shall we?

And as for CL shebi na here we dey. When you were exonerating Pep at Bayern we warned you that this man don cast. Now he can't even cross quarterfinals

You and I know that Klopp wants a trophy, period. Nothing like UCL and league. He wanted one to first announce his presence and it has eluded him thus far.

We also know that the only investment Pep made this season was Mahrez so I don't understand the blank cheque part. Klopp got everyone he wanted. He almost even got that guy in Lyon I forget his name now.

This your personal beef with Pep will have to end soon because the standard started from not winning spoon in England to now barest minimum. Going by your argument, UCL too is the barest minimum.

I'm watching the game. Dude I'm weak. Poor perimeter defense all year round and it shows. No grit. Nothing.

The Warriors need KD as much as he needs them. You can't win with Curry playing like this every series.
