Spurs really started so terribly!

End of 1st Quarter Spurs losing 13 : 23
Their antiquated offense is what is responsible for this performance so far.

DeMar DeRozan. 2/11 0-0 3pm

Like the old saying goes, when someone shows you who they are. Believe them!
Re: The NBA Begins by MANNABBQGRILLS: 5:37am On Apr 28, 2019
Oh no!!

Poor Spurs....they lost 86 : 90.

They started badly but finished strongly!!

What an interesting last 5 mins!!

GSW vs Rockets.....another interesting game loading!!

The Nuggets are a guard-heavy team and this helps them in close games because they can push the ball.

The body shots are the prequel. Jacobs is a tough kid, it would still likely take a hook or overhand to the chin to drop him.

Lmaooo noo. GGG didn't have such agricultural technique bruh. Plus the reason GGG doesn't have a better résumé is because nobody really wanted to fight him. Prime GGG was one of the most ducked fighters in the division

I don't know if I want to see another Canelo vs GGG fight. GGG is already in decline while Canelo is in his peak

I'm just saying, the cinnamon man has various weapons. And I'm obviously not comparing GGG and Wilders technique, I'm just saying their resume is similar in the sense that they have fought nobody of note. What you're saying about GGG is the same thing wilder will say, everyone was avoiding him. But whats his excuse for the fight he chose now? He doesnt have that boogey man tag anymore i mean steve rolls? LOL!

I dont want to see a trilogy either, if he beats jacobs which he most likely will, Andrade is the next fight to make if he doesnt want to go challenge callum smith at super middleweight.

I know it's only game 1 but we all saw it coming. For starters when your Starting PG can't shoot or should I say refuses to shoot, then you are in for a long night vs any half decent team. Also Embiid needs to take a good hard look at Himself. He says He is the most unstoppable player in the game but He sure did not play like one today. It's like He read all the articles about Gasol being His stopper and He took it to heart forcing shots trying to prove a point. Let the game come to you Jojo and stop forcing plays.

However the Good news is that Pascal and Kawhi won't shoot this well throughout the series and the likes of Embiid, butler and Tobias won't play this bad all through either.

I have never ever questioned the Claw. I had a problem with how he left San Antonio but I always knew that a healthy Kawhi is virtually unstoppable on both ends.
the snake left us dry for this mumu derozen. I swear the game weak me. And pop will be retiring soon o. How are we going to rebuild? With all the junks of players we have. I hope white becomes another duncan tho.

Yes bro. I feel he has a better all-round game than embiid. He can assist, can defend just as good and is more intelligent

Better all round game are you joking, the dude for all his talent cannot shoot from beyond ten ft. If your list was based on what they can both be in the next 2-5 yes. Then it might be understandable based on embiid health and Ben getting a jump shot

The only hope is to tank in a season where the next draft class is deep. The spurs development program will always get the players that can flesh out a winning roster. But that number one option is more often than not a lottery pick

you are right. I trust the front office when it comes to draft picks. On a lighter note, ben is another kwame brown in the making

Jokic is such a rebounding beast. Spurs have started really terribly.

DeFrozen 0/5 so far

Spurs looked like they just wanted to weather the initial storm. But Denver came out confident from start to finish. I was expecting game 7 jitters from Denver....for where. Jokic is a beast!

Ohh Denver tried their very best to trowey that game yesterday but luckily for them DeRozan and LaMarcus were the guys they were contending with. They might not be so lucky next round

I'm happy for the Nuggets. I had my eyes on this team since the start of last season and it's great to see them fulfil potential after their erstwhile abysmal defense was holding them back.

Jokic shot very poorly but did just enough. It was a real war of attrition on all sides

Lol no one has ever really accused Wilder of ducking tbvh. Up till this AJ vs Wilder saga. The general consensus was that Wilder had not really fought anyone credible, which I wouldn't necessarily blame him for.

I agree GGG's current selection was poor. Andrade was the no-brainer fight to make. I don't know if they were ever on the negotiating table but if GGG wants to get back in the title frame then he would have to fight these guys or retire so ducking them would be pointless

Your boy Jacare lost again. Lol! Don't want to hear that old man speak on Izzy till he scores a win against any decent contender

LOL Jacare is good, but hes not my guy yoel is. Was actually more interested in mike perrys fight since hes our "african brother" and hes a warrior, the fight didnt disappoint. Yoel has beaten everyone not named whittaker including jacare, Like i said im still rooting for israel but the kid needs to stay humble and remain careful. He has a long way to go.

Rungvisai lost wow. really surprised

IMH, Usyk entering the heavyweights would make it more exciting and I see him as a bigger threat to AJ than wilder is. Usyk is fast, and very smart with excellent technique. He is like a smaller AJ and he could go the distance if he is pitted against AJ.
When it comes to the Heavyweights the bigger guy usually wins (unless you're Mike Tyson) and even Tyson feasted on glass chinned ninjas and past their peak Larry Holmes.

Funny enough I actually feel smaller fighters give AJ more trouble than the bigger ones. My fear for Usyk will ultimately be that size advantage might just be too much to overturn. Just like Holyfield never really figured out Bowe or Lewis but you felt if he was only a few inches taller, a few pounds heavier maybe he would have more Knockout power to truly dominate

darkelf:

Jacobs is a strong fighter no doubt but Canelo has better quality and is a better offensive fighter with an equally strong chin. Although, I admit that he may have lost against GGG if the later was younger. GGG seemed slower in both fights like he was battling rigamortis.

And why is nobody talking the fight we all want to see; Crawford vs Spence Jnr. Man.......a fight of the century calibre duel
GGG's KO power was waning and it was clear even from the Jacobs fight. I'd be suprised if he didn't go the distance against Canelo. I mean Chavez Jr did and he barely put up a fight

As for Spence and Crawford, well there's no point to keep talking about a fight that might never hold

These Raptors team are very good so I don't know if His bouncing back would see them through to the Conference Finals. The Duo of Siakam and Leonard are an entirely different beast from Lowry and DeRozan.
