Your CDR is not based on certificates or certifications you have but on your engineering knowledge of your nominated occupation. You should see EA's guidelines on writing a CDR (Competency Demonstration Report).

When you are here, you can choose any path for yourself. However, for any medical or human services occupation, my advice is to enter into it because of passion and not money.
thanks Sir for the answers and clarification

Hello everyone, after submitting an EOI, please is there usually a mail being sent telling us it has been received and it's being processed? If there is, for how long do I have to wait to receive the response from them.

You only get notified your EOI has been created and EOI get processed when the profile receives an Invitation To Apply (ITA). All this process is automated by the skillselect system.

Hello efam,
Thanks for a great job here.
I got feedback from Engineer Australia today and I would like to be guided on how to tackle them, most especially the third one
@bellong, @Alphadoor and any other person who has a similiar experience, please come to my aid.

Here is the Assessor's Feedback

1. Please, Provide a high-quality coloured scan of a new passport style photograph
2. The passport identification page does not show sufficient background detail, please provide a new scan of the passport identification page.
3. Please, provide a high-quality colour scan of a new reference letter meeting all the requirements as specified in MSA booklet page 28.

I understand that I need to send a high-quality scan back to them for feedbacks 1 and 2 but for Feedback 3, the reference letter I sent initially meets all the requirement in the MSA booklet but I didn't send any secondary documents because I am not assessing for relevant skilled assessment for now. What exactly could they be asking for?

Also, I want to ask that since they didn't raise any issue with my report does that mean there are no issues?

Thanks in advance

I believe you need just need to rescan in order to meet the 600dpi quality as required and you are good to go.

Usually, once you respond to those queries, your assessment should come out in a few days

I can't tell you if you have a chance. However, if you read the thread and all the information, I believe you will be able to make that decision yourself.

For a start, have you checked the list to identify any related occupation to your experience? And is there any state nominating it?

Start from there.

I need advice from the gurus please. I want to apply for visa180 as a fashion designer. I studied literature in the university and graduated 2007. 2011 I want to a fashion school and got employed by the same establishment after graduation. Now my questions are these:

Which documents am I to send to the assessing body

I am paid in cash so my salary won't reflect on my account, can pay slip suffice?

I checked one of the states for availability and I saw "supplementary skilled list", what does that mean?

Please I'll appreciate it if I get a response. Thanks

First I would like to thank the initiator of this thread Mr. bellong for providing us with vital information regarding getting Australian PR.

Gurus in the house, I would appreciate answers to my questions:

1. What is the minimum financial requirement to get Australian PR? I am an Electrical Engineer with 5 years working experience with an electricity distribution company (NEPA cheesy) and I am almost through with my Masters, so I will be applying for subclass 189.

2. Also, can one apply alongside his spouse?
Re: DIY Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa - Part 2 by bellong: 10:40am On May 16, 2019
@omabb,

Third party evidence is a compulsory requirement to proof employment. Third party evidence could be in form of tax certificate, bank statement or pension fund statement. Payslip is not enough evidence to support employment. The CO will ask for more evidence if you don't include a third party evidence.

Being on supplementary list shows you have to meet some conditions to be nominated which may be having a family member living in the state or you have schooled there or you can meet high points like 85 points.

As it is, I don't think you meet the condition.
Re: DIY Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa - Part 2 by bellong: 10:49am On May 16, 2019
@anfieldboss,

I suppose you have not read the thread yet. I will answer your questions but you can read to have better perspective.

1. By financial requirements, do you mean the cost for the whole process or evidence of financial standing in terms of bank statement? If it is the former, you will need to read the thread as it has been asked several times. For the latter, you don't need proof of fund for Australia migration. However, for state nomination, some state do require that you declare your financial status or evidence you can sustain yourself for a year.

2. Yes, you can include your spouse and children on the application. If your spouse's occupation is on the same skilled list as yours, she can do a skill assessment to add 5 points to your points.

Hope you guys do give us light?

Goodluck.

Good day @Alphadoor

Im also a lawyer but i have 5Yrs experience as a marketer in a bank. I nominated customer service manager as my skill and it required a diploma or advanced diploma qualification or 3 years experience in lieu. My question is, if they take 3 Yrs in lieu, how many points can 2 years experience fetch me?
Would i still need to send university transcript to the assessing body? Although i didn't see that requirement on their website.

Thanks.

Alphadoor:

While lawyers are having it hard,
If you are not a practicing it,
what are doing currently and how many years of experience do you have? HR manager??

visit the link above to understand if you can meet the criteria.

The process goes beyond bank statement

Greetings to everyone in the house. I will like my wife to assess her credentials as well so as to get additional 5 points for partner. She is a teacher in primary school but has HND in chemical engineering + PGDE in education from NTI. Can she get a positive assessment from AITSL?
Re: DIY Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa - Part 2 by LondonBook: 9:07pm On May 17, 2019
Kindly clarify this. Will it fly for 5 points if husband's occupation is on 190 list and wife's occupation is also on the same state 190 list or does it have to be on the same MLTSSL ? Verified answer is required please.
Re: DIY Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa - Part 2 by LondonBook: 9:09pm On May 17, 2019
NTI with 1 year verifiable Teaching Practice would work.

Thanks for your quick response.
Should I send the NTI certificate and transcript + evidence of teaching practice only or the HND certificate should be included?

Hello gurus in the house, i need advice pls, im still going through the thread but i decided to get clarifications before i proceed.

I have a B.Sc in Computer Science, I have 3 yrs experience as a contact centre rep in a bank and 1 year plus as a customer relationship officer for HNIs in a bank (4+ years total of customer relationship management in a bank)

I have checked the occupations list, no state is nominating call centre operator or call centre team lead.
1. Do i go for marketing specialist as customer service manager may seem like i manage a team which isn’t true? I need guidance biko, dnt know how to proceed.

2. Since my B.Sc is different from my experience, does it mean i cant claim points for qualification?

There's no reason to include the HND as it is unrelated to the occupation as an educator. You can email the assessment body the credentials before applying.
