Hello House! Please who can direct me on how to link my children's application to my SWOP. I applied for Open study permit for them and 'thus' they do not have any school to attend yet or DLI number. Thanks for your usual assistance. |

Just mail them as stated in the mail. I haven't see this before, and you said your eligibility is still on review. uote author=Oladimejii post=78764901]I got a mail that my processed passport is ready for pick up. No medical mail nor upfront medicals. I had presumed it was a refusal and had prepared for the worst. I got there today, picked up my package and tore it open to find my passport with the attached slip. Mind you my Online Account is still on Eligibility check. The only message I received last week was correspondence mail.[/quote] |

bennyg24:I told them exactly this and they insisted that they only send official transcripts and they do not send at all to students. They said I should have been making record of my transcripts myself ![]() |

Some schools do not send transcripts to students or individual addresses whether official or unofficial. However, i know that they won't hesitate to send it to any corporate body/organization with an official address. So, Apply for the transcript to be sent to an official organisation, probably your work place or any office where you have access to and are sure it will be handed to you when received. When it is delivered, you can get it and use it for whatever you wish. Stevenssen: |

To the best of my knowledge, it can. Just ensure that allnpages of the statements are duly certified by the bank. judisco2019: |

Hi, that is a denial/refusal. Check your email for the denial letter, and if it isn't there, send an email to them. Oladimejii: |

Work requirement on study is for those who have a co-op option attached to their study. If you don't have this, don't tick the 'Yes' box on the form, where it asks if you'll need to work while you study. Ticking 'yes' means you're going for a co-op type of study. Martbills: |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by Deane: 5:18pm On May 27, 2019 |
While filling the questionnaire, did you indicate that your program is a co-op program that compulsorily requires you to work as part of your program. Did you also indicate that you are an exchange student? These may be the reasons you are being asked to uplosd those documents. Martbills: |

What some people who have jobs do is this, they get a letter from their place of work asking them for an official copy of their transcript. They then use the transcript when the school sends it to their place of work. Stevenssen: |

It can be used, so long as it's not a fake document and the account and amount can be verified. judisco2019: |

I guess it was an automated response from them. I will advise that you be patient and wait for their response in the coming days. Anamekele: |

It's normal. Unofficial transcript in most schools MUST be collected in person; either by you or someone you know. Whoever you choose to help you can then send it to you through courier or any means. N/B: I assume it's a Nigerian University you finished from... send someone that is street smart, money must change hands to boost the process. Stevenssen: |

Somalian360:Thanks but I went myself and they refused to give me the un -official copy. I'll just request the official one sent to a place I can pick it up, as advised. |

| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 15 by zsuby: 6:28pm On May 27, 2019 |
Stevenssen:Well if your School is Unilag, just use the one on your student portal. And you can even pay NGN1000 to have the unofficial transcript sent to your email address |

Please enlighten me more on this. I got an admission with funding. But I will be expected to work in the university 4hours per week as a graduate assistant. Also the program involves internship opportunity. So will this program be regarded as co-op option? Bracha: |

Hello Gurus in the house! I applied for TRV for adegree program on the 7th April; got denied on 8th May with VO citing Purpose of visit, Travel history and Personal and financial assets as reasons. I ordered gcms note on 16th. My concern is waiting for the gcms would mean shorter period for visa application and processing -- Since the earliest time I might likely get the gcms is on 16th June whereas and my Sch resumes 4 Sep. I'm looking at taking a risk of re-applying now or wait till I get the gcms notes. Your Candid advice will be appreciated. @Frankrobbn1 @Qudkom et. al |

chisongozi:Thanks brother for the explanation, meaning I have to start all over again to effect the corrections and get a new reference code. Response please house |

Deane:I did not indicate my program was a Co-op program probably I must have unknown to me. Can I be able to correct that. And secondly, I indicated I am an exchange student, because I was confused. As I have gotten my admission letter am I an exchange student, if not can I still go back to correct them. Or do it just have to start a fresh application again to effect all the corrections. Response please @Dean. |

Try editing the questionnaire. You'll probably have to scroll through the pages from the beginning. When you get to the page where you are asked the following questions: Are you an exchange student? Is work an essential component of your studies? (required) Select "NO" as your response to both questions. Then save the questionnaire. Martbills: |

If that doesn't work out, here's what you should do. Does the school upload transcripts online to school application portal? If yes, then get them to upload one on an application portal for a university provided you could download the document afterwards. You could begin an application solely for the purpose of getting your transcripts. You'll send your login details to your school for upload. You can try SciencesPo in France. Their application portal permits download of uploaded documents. Stevenssen: |
