People have been clamouring for the return of the Diaz brothers but I'm not one of such people. Though they've never been champions the Diaz brothers have paid their dues in the UFC. I doubt Bones ever moves to Heavyweight. The risk/reward is too disproportionate. One well-timed blow can undo everything. I think age will tell on DC. Miocic probably took him for granted that first fight. I like Stipe (provided he stayed in shape during his layoff)

Looking at Melos career it kind of justifies some of the desperate moves players make for rings. Even makes me empathize with the serpent a little. Melo is one of the greatest scorers the game has ever seen but he's been turned into a joke and a meme. I can't help but think if he had at least one ring people won't disrespect him like this. Imagine if LeBron hasn't won a ring at this stage of his career? Damn! But I guess it's better to live through the sort of criticism the serpent is going through than end up like melo. The NBA is really cruel.

There are still a lot of iso players thriving in the league. Some of the best players in the league are iso players. Plus he was adapting and playing well with the rockets before he was made into a scape goat. Now he's been ostracized by the NBA. Not fair at all.

Evolving with the times is not necessarily about iso ball. He should have fully embraced a bench role (6th or 7th man). He is definitely no longer a starter in a contender, and if he wants to play for one he has to understand that.
