Ignore the guy, just another travel agent selling the hope of greener pastures to gullible Nigerians. A friend just got to Canada after he left a bank branch manager job. He’s now working in a post office in Brampton and he’s seriously regretting his stupid decision. Travel agents must make money and people like you are threats to them.

Oga shut up. Person wey just arrive onyibo land from 3rd world jungle. U expect oyibo to give am manager job immediately with Nigeria degree

well

Ivorians are laid back tho

that gives we as igbo men the space to make some bucks here and there

But then we have the Lebanese to contend with

But that aside

NiggerArea dey fall hand big time
it pains me evryday

Look at Senegal, Look at Rwanda, look at even Accra....

they are crawling ahead while that nigger country chose to be stagnant.

the only countries I have been to that are worse and more Niggerly than NiggerArea are Liberia, Guinea Conakty and Sierra Leone

Liberia should be the worst country on this continent undecided
Even Burkina dey try in their own way

as for what you are suggesting, i like how you are looking at positives

But hey, like my uncle will say in igbo "one does not take pride in suffering"
my mum said something similar too."suffer no be achievement" cheesy
But about the Lebanese, just leave them! You can't compete with those people.
They've got lots of money and cheap/brotherly expertise and they can spoil price ehn cheesy
But I know most of their businesses around these parts of Africa is targeted mostly around manufacturing and retail(supermarkets mostly).
Is there any chance that this is what you do in CIV?

don't mind that guy

You are coming from a failed shithole joke and you want to just get a top job like that?

You have to pay your dues first

his kids will be the biggest winners in the move

most times, it's the kids of immigrants that benefit most from immigration

or even in her $hithole pathetic state, will Nigerian companies just hire a freshly landed FVCKING Burundi man with a half naked degree from University of Boujumbura

You get the logic?

You can only say that because you are a woman. Somebody like me can relate, there is no fiction in whatever he has said here. The struggle is real for most guys, this is black world, struggling to survive is the order of the day.

Very technical answer.
Are you into retail?
If so,have you thought of bringing in products they don't do or import?
Indians,Lebanese na wahala ooo!
I am seeing that in the next 10-15 years, individual retail will collapse!
Supermarkets(large marts) are springing up everywhere with better pricing and clean, comfortable shopping experience and people are beginning to know this!
So the only issue now is when?
They have money so they purchase most of these products in bulk and direct too so competing with their price is almost impossible.
The only thing stopping them now is people knowing this which will happen sooner or later.
So I think anyone involved in small scale retail should start making out plan B ASAP

Bros, that's how Nigerians living abroad are. The first time I visited Germany, most of the people I knew were all dodging me even though I had more than enough money. Some of them I even helped them before they could go abroad... But that's just life. Always be determined to put ur trust in God alone and always rely on what your hardwork can get you. Sorry for what you went thru... Nigeria is not such a bad place if you know what you're doing. Even Ghanaians are trooping here on a daily basis.

Nigerians are good at destroying themselves hence the suspicion

But I disagree with your last statement tho

NiggerArea is actually a VERY BAD PLACE TO LIVE cheesy

You can make good money and big money in Nigeria (especially IF you have NO conscience)
But for living?

You have made a good point

Starting next year, I'm thinking retail of agric produce in Accra; Abidjan and Dakar

the pilot phase will.be in Abidjan tho...
Phase two is to try to link up my Accra contacts

then Dakar being like an hour and a half away will be last phase probably 2021...

Any advice?

Lebanese are big in cocoa so I will.just respect myself and sit out of that one

Always seek advice before traveling, some people are used to a life of crime, so they move to anywhere they can do their work...you must enter Ghana with money, I was there for holidays, I was in Accra, I saw a lot of 'stranded' Nigerian guys there, when I was at a smoke joint in town...some have adjusted to Ghana life, and doing menial jobs, a few do petty trading there, others are yahoo boys and some do local, what they call 'wash wash'... Don't just be carried away by what people say, you don't know where they are coming from, some people are very desperate, that they can leave for anywhere they think they stand a better chance...it's always relative, think of what you are going there to do, and how much you have...Ghana sweet, if you have money.

everywhere sweet if you have money.

OP, sorry to read about your experience in Ghana. Thankfully, God sent you a helper and you also took the right decision to return home.

From the way you write, I'd wager a bet that you are a graduate or had some decent formal education. Have you tried exploring the job market in Nigeria? You can always emigrate when you have saved enough cash and legally, too.

Anyway, tonight we are happy to know you got back in one piece. I'd like to send you a coin or two to buy you a drink or a meal (please PM or share your account number, if perchance others want to do same).

So the hordes of upper middle class Nigerians dumping their jobs at the big 4 and oil companies and selling their business and property to move to Canada and the US/Australia are all dumb abi?

or they are from poor homes abi?

You think it's easy to cough out USD11000 + ?

baba just thank God you are comfortable in NiggerArea that's all I'll tell you

many despite the millions are NOT.

Example is myself....

So people like us had to leave

I'm not against anyone who still want to be settled in NiggerArea tho
someone has to live there

After all I have a business contact from Vietnam that still lives there despite the country being a proper $hithole
They are quitting their jobs and selling their properties because they have been brainwashed that oyinbo countries are heaven on earth despite their so called education. 90% of them are regretting their decision now but it's too late, why you hear them say they are doing it 4 their kids.

I will gladly pay 50% of my income as tax to make Nigeria work like many countries abroad. I recently saw a video of the international airport in Dakar, Senegal and the Senegalese Airline, I felt bad for Nigeria even as a Nigerian. Migration from Nigeria might not work for some but it is justified. Even if you live well in Nigeria, the polluted air outside, bad roads & the rots across board are the heavy price that you pay indirectly, like it or not. Your big man life is average regular life in most countries abroad.

You really nailed It sir!!! The man thought he was speaking sense, But unfortunately, He was spewing gibberish all through!!!

If a person is poor and desperate, of course, they need to go where they can get jobs, and get paid...not everyone wants to run out, lots of people are doing well here, living better lives than Nigerian immigrants abroad...it all depends on what you are doing wherever you are. Not everyone wants to leave Nigeria for greener pastures abroad...
