Mudicua:
Hey Obehi
I am not a guru, however this is what I think.
What is the probability that if you apply in June you will get feedback from CIC before August to enable you travel in time to start school? We do not really know. However applying for GCMS will give you a chance to know very well what the VO really thought about your application before giving a denial.

1. So if you feel you can adequately address the issue on your refusal letter, then by all means go ahead and re-apply for your study permit, while also applying for the GCMS notes. If you apply for the GCMS notes today, you will most likely get a response about this time in July. And if you find something you think you did not address in your reapplication, then you can do a webform to that effect.

2. Rather than apply for admission for 2020, why don't you wait to see the outcome of your visa process, and if you feel that they are taking too long to give you a response, then write to the school and apply for a deferral. Except the school does not give a deferral, then you can reapply for a fresh admission.

Lastly there are no consequences persay. All it is, is for you to be patient, prepare adequately and boost your application, and then wait the process out. But it seems like you are in a hurry, and only you knows why.
All the best.
Thank you for this response, it's been helpful. But please if you don't mind, can I also send you an email to get help in writing my LOE? Because I believe that is where my power to get this visa is.

Ibitowaoa:
Actually, it depends on your decision. As you’ve said, I have transferred not that the university transferred you. You submitted a request and it was granted. So, I don’t think you need to ask such question if it does matter so far it matters to you. Or am I not getting the question.
Yeah I know, like does it matter to the Canadian embassy that’s what I meant

You have nothing to worry about, just make sure you satisfy all CIC requirement and you are good to go, also don't forget to pray about it as well

Hello gurus Qudkum, JustMellow, Bracha, Austacus, Oluwaseunbd, Frank and anyone who can help.

Please I am having some difficulties in my application uploading my IMM1294e form. I downloaded the form and filled it, saved it and tried uploading it and the response am getting is

"The form could not be submitted because errors were found.
Error: We couldn't upload your file.

Error Description: The version of the document submitted is no longer accepted"

I have tried different browsers even Internet explorer but I still get the same outcome. Please what can I do to fixed this or is there something I am not doing right?
The imm forms are regularly updated at specified intervals by IRCC. If the hint was about old version of the document, kindly go to IRCC website to download the updated imma form.

When downloading the form, make sure you have an updated version of Adobe Reader DC, Acrobat, 10 or 11 installed on your system. After downloading the imm form with either browser of Internet explore, Safari, or chrome; open the imma form with/through the Adobe Reader then fill and validate before uploading.

Let me know how it goes.

Good luck!

I just came in over the weekend and tried calling peopleready. And its seems I will need a social security number.

How long does it take in getting social security number? And where in Ottawa

Austacus:
My own chip in
She should move to Ottawa or Toronto for summer ONLY to work. If she has any friends (that lives in an apartment) or family member that can accommodate her for the season

Work experience is very very important here.

Relocating to Toronto or Ottawa is highly crazy in terms of cost of living so I will advise her not to relocate.

Her resume should be in Canadian standard, her friends can help her with it, her school employment supports can also help her with it, indeed can also help her with it. But I would advise she should go through school employment supports or friends formats. She should also write a very good ready-made cover letter so whatever work she wants to apply for she would just do a little editing.

In Ottawa ”PeopleReady” employs every day And they have jobs that pay $22 per hr in this summer.

If she wants to come to Ottawa, she should call them and book an appointment with them. then she will be interviewed and write an exam. After the exam, they will congratulate her.

There are surplus jobs in Toronto, Ottawa and BC but the cost of living is maad.

What matters to the Canadian embassy is that you satisfy the financial aspect and convince them using ur LOE why you want to go for that degree, what motivated you and after graduation you coming home.
Your part is just to make sure you played those parts and pray to God that your LOE was able to convince them and not confused them

This is a general issue as I have received over 4 to 5 applicants who recently complained to me that they are currently facing difficulty in uploading the IMM1294E (Application Made outside of Canada) through their MyCIC Account after validating and saving the form on their desktop.... Some have taken steps by reporting the issue to the IRCC technical department but all effort proved ineffective. Myself will also play around with it to see if I can proffer a remedy for it. Once that is done, I'll give you a feedback here by earliest tomorrow.

Thanks for sharing this information. I'll check it's achievability. Afterwards, I'll extend it to applicants who are in dire need of this help.
