Study Visa application? Nairobi, Kenya. Also don't bother using the tracking code VFS sent you it doesn't work. All the best. Log in to your cic account to get any updates on your application.

Thanks for your response.
I need to send some additional documents to cic via webform and I keeps telling me to fill the embassy processing my application.

Hi, good day.

Please, I'm looking at doing an M.Sc in biotech at Simon Fraser university. From your knowledge of Canada, how good do you think the university is?

Also, I just sent a request to a potential supervisor this week, do you think I'll be able to meet up with the deadline for Spring registration?

If it'll be possible to meet up, are there some other things I can start getting in place for that, aside my documents?

Thanks

1st of all.. I dont know Simon Fraser university, I didn't apply there.. in fact am leaving Nigeria for the very 1st time in my life..so I am going to get the knowledge of canada wen I get there...

I am not going for an Msc, but a PGD...I really don't know how getting supervisors with funding works..

I suggest you go to thread 15.. and read up cos there were Msc applicants who applied, got supervisors and funding and got visas...

I CANNOT share the information here because Nairaland kicks against advertisement of any sort in this section. Posting a phone number of someone I get stuff from is an advert of sorts, so also is posting links of certain websites.

If anyone needs it, they can contact me.

Cheers.

@Bracha, also share the info here. Thanks

have you ever visited CIC website? if yes then you should know the list of hospitals/clinics are there. Also you can use the search bar on this thread to search, all you need do is put your question there and search.

I've done that and gotten the list of hospitals i can visit. Thank you

You are welcome bro. Hope you aren't angry with my initial response? I was just trying to let others know there are so much information on this thread and CIC site that can be gotten with just a simple search.
Good luck with your application

Hello everyone, I need some advice on my application, I got my study permit refusal some days ago, I Have bsc in psychology, I work in an accounting firm. I applied to write My Acca in Canada, I need guru in the house to advice on next step. Thank you

• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit.
• • I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, base on your travel history

• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, Base on your personal assets and financial status

You are welcome to reapply if you feel that you can respond to these concerns and can demonstrate that your situation meets the requirements. All new applications must be accompanied by a new processing fee.
Sincerely,

Hello guys,
Good job you're doing here.
I am pondering severql scenarios.

I understand that if my wife gains admission, hubby and kids can go along to Canada. True?

What kind of permit will I the hubby have? Any restrictions as regards work?

While wife is studying, am I the hubby restricted from applying for PR while in canada with her?

I am thinking of using JOB/employer to get additonal points for PR.

PS: i want wife to study so I can hustle full time.

Please house is compulsory to do another police clearance after visa refusal or submit the former clearance?
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by Hollushola(m): 7:16pm On Jun 09, 2019
the previous one should span three months I think. if it's still within the 3months, you can use it. if not then you have to get another. except if you want to submit your application without it. of course several people has submitted and gotten their student permit without police report.

My advice is get a new one if the one you have has expired.

Secondly, when did you graduate (Bsc) and how long have you been working in this accounting firm? What's your position in the firm?

Yes if your wife gets her TRV (not just admission) she can apply for you and the kids to join her.
As for job restrictions, you won't have such but your wife will(20hours/week during academic session and unlimited during holidays).

You can either get a Spouse Open Work Permit (sowp) or visit visa. Your child will get TRV as well.

Yes you can apply for PR with job although there is a classification of job you can apply with most especially your level at work really matter. Let me say from Supervisor Role upward.

How long does application for TRV take on the average?

Sowp or visit visa can be obtained before wife departs or she will have to go first?

Firstly order for your note, to know the real reason you were denied but from my point of view, your SOP will do the magic for you.

Since you study psychology and currently work in the accounting firm, writing a powerful SOP shouldn’t be your problem if you really think you deserve to be in Canada. You can do it.

You need to step up the funds you have in your SOA.

Travel history will disappear

It’s either you submit a family application together which is a lot easier and better but it’s always a tasking application because of the complexity of what you will have to submit which is demanding.

You can as well apply immediately she gets her visa or after she starts school. But always good after the first semester.

To whom it may concern

Information got to me and I was told that it’s on VFS website that if you have been exempted from taking biometrics with the current one lasting the next 10years with the new development starting since mid 2018 with CIC and VFS since September or November 2018, you will have to pay around 14k for passport transmission after PPT request for approval. (Online route)

But newly applicants are exempted from it with the receipt of the newly taken biometrics fees.

Pls confirm this news on VFS website.

House please I have a question on behalf of someone with an OND certificate. What is the appropriate program he can apply for and what are his chances of securing admission with his certificate, I mean OND.

Please, if I get you right, you applied to write your ACCA exams in Canada? Not that you intend to attend a designated learning institution?

I’ve already sent a request for my note to know the reason for my refusal and also know a better way to systematically apply for a new application. I’m thinking of travelling to Dubai or South Africa, any suggestion? I’d appreciate if you can assist with a new sop.
Thank you
