Fuszy: Bro I think you can defend why you are going for the course, you can go to the schools website where your course is and list out all the courses you're going to do and talk about it in a way that it's not taught in Nigeria in that way or that deep. Just let your SOP be banging, give to people to read for you. Read your SOP as if you're a VO yourself and any loophole you see try to fill it. 3 Likes |

Please gurus in the house i need your help and input in reviewing my SOP for reapplication. Reason for refusal is purpose of visit. I read petroleum engineering first and second degree and want to go for environmental engineering PhD but it is domiciled in civil engineering in the school. I want to show career progression.. |

Austacus: To whom it may concern... my own na, make I land... wen the second term starts we will know though I think that increment applies to new applicants.. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by OptimusPrime21: 8:36am On Jun 12, 2019 |
Oluwaloseyi66: It's necessary.. a very convincing one at that |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by Tlontin(m): 8:44am On Jun 12, 2019 |
Oluwaloseyi66:Not necessary but might help you to answer some of the vo concern since it’s not likely they would call you for an interview to express yourself. So in my opinion SOP is helpful tho some have gotten their visa on the part 15 thread without writing SOP. Grace is different!!! Goodspeed 2 Likes 1 Share |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by mcobex: 9:09am On Jun 12, 2019 |
Anamekele:Try to explain how Petroleum engineering is related to Environmental engineering to the vo, it should be well detailed (cos these VOs don't really know these things so you have to present it like you are explaining to a novice). All these should be in a separate LOE(apart from your SOP). Also, make sure you talk about your funding. i.e your LOE should be about your funding and how related petroleum engineering and environmental engineering are(shouldn't be hard at all) 1 Like 1 Share |

Oluwaloseyi66:You should have paid with you sponsors account or better still let you sponsor send some funds into your account while you also show them your SOA to show that your sponsor actually send the said amount for tuition deposit, visa fee and flight itnery to you.Reason is just to show them you have a genuine sponsor and not arrangee!!! Ps. Your SOA isn’t an alternative for that of your sponsor. You have to show them your sponsor SOA too... very important. I wish you all the best!!! |

Oluwaloseyi66:IFyou can order for your gcms note to know while you are refused might help...you also need a convincing LOE to explain and tackle those refusal ground to the vo. LOE is letter of explanation!!! 2 Likes |

toysleek: Lmao You get time Pls before coming for me, make sure you do your findings. Hope you know there are other breakdown That is compulsory to pay Huh? What you saw is just for the tuition fee. I repeat, if MUN is expensive, then Canada will be very very and super tough cause these guys ain't expecting you to pay your tuition fee yourself from the wages you make while working in Canada. (you've got to quit a full term to attain that goal). Some of the landlord's in Ottawa, once they noticed you don't get money from home or sponsor, they will look for an excuse to close the deal. If you have a friend that lives in Ontario especially Ottawa, Toronto, BC ask them about the standard of living and compare with Newfoundland and Labrador Btw, am not a guru, I cringe whenever I am being referred to guru. Who guru help! 2 Likes 1 Share |

holllowu: Public holiday done too much nah Shey you guys just had two days holiday. If you're a good friend with your account officer or bank customer care, call him/her to connect with CBN so that they will reserve dollar for you cause sometimes dollar dey finish for CBN. Anyways, you have two options to pay in the currency CAD OR USD so no how one of those would be available |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 16 by Austacus: 10:30am On Jun 12, 2019 |
OptimusPrime21: I don't think so bro They will add it to your second term tuition fee. Go back and read about the tuition fee policy and see what they said about school fee increment. Did you get the message about the tuition fee? If you don't, check your student mail, you will see it. After one month of your study, they will give you two weeks to make the second term payment, so if you have the money for it, keep it aside while coming. |

Good morning everyone in house, below are my result of gcms note, pls help me attend to it or advise me on what do. Thanks"I have reviewed the application. Based on the *financial documents submitted*, the Applicant appears to have a *moderate level of establishment* in their country of residence, and as a consequence, this visit does not appear to be a reasonable expense. in addition, *I have therefore accorded less weight to the applicant's economic ties*. The applicant's *purpose of visit appears vague* and poorly documented. The applicant's prior travel history is insufficient to count as a positive factor in my assessment. Weighing the factors in this application, I am not satisfied that the applicant will depart Canada at the end of the period authorized for their stay. For the reasons above, I have refused this application." 3 Likes |

OptimusPrime21: It's normal in Ontario. Even if you work, the government are collecting the money back from you from one way to another. That's why, you make sure you don't settle for $14 job cause e go hard wella to sustain alone. Red river college is a good school If you can transfer please do Manitoba, Quebec and I think Alberta is fair cause people are running to Alberta this days is not expensive, housing and cost of living plus you enjoy the life you get in Ontario. 3 Likes 1 Share |

mcobex:Good day all. This issue of reapplication especially the LOE and the SOP sometimes becomes confusing. Some applicants write only one SOP or LOE as the case may be. Some write both. My question is which one comes first in that client information section. Secondly, what are the contents of an LOE and SOP? Thirdly, if they should be separate, does the SOP need a heading like "STATEMENT OF PURPOSE "? Cos applicants that are reaplplying are advised to tackle the reasons on the refusal letter first before introducing the SOP. Cos these are things that often become ambiguous for a reapplying candidate . @Mcobex, frankrobbn and co pls shed some light on this. Thanks 1 Like |

nochyks87:I advise applicants reapplying to include LOE to the SOP. LOE should be use to address the reason(s) for previous denial(has to be detailed). But first time applicant can use only SOP. Yes the heading can be "Statement of purpose". 1 Like |

wealthmiq: I have gone through your post and noticed you didn't package your application well. The refusal reasons seems to me as the true picture of your application. Therefore, I'll advise that you tackle them holistically and I am sure it will end in praise. Please how do I view the full pics of the GCMS note you attached. |

Hi guys, good morning. I was recently refused Canadian study visa and this is the only reason that was stated. • I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay, as stipulated in subsection 216(1) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit. I want to apply again but i don't know what to do differently. Any help or suggestions? |
