Yoruba never depended on this country, we have survived worse civilian and military governments in the past. We know how to re-strategise and strike back. OBJ's administration was anti-Yoruba. Did we die? No, we survived it. We will survive again when Igbo takes over. Don't threaten us with when you take over you will do A B C etc.

The problem with you yorubas is that you like to play victims when in reality especially here on Nairaland, you are usually the aggressors. I have been on Nairaland possibly longer than you. This is my second account. I have seen it all. When Yorubas open threads attacking igbos, we respond to it and move on. But when we actually decide to give you back the same degree of hate that we receive from you yorubas, you start crying victim. It’s time you guys man up and decide if you want to stay in Nigeria with igbos or if you want igbos to leave BUT you can never have it both ways no matter how hard you try.
I care less about when you joined nairaland. This thread will forever be referenced when you people speak against any Yoruba man.
I have said it before, I don't hate Igbo people and I will never hate them. The kind of Igbo people offline are better than the one here. You can as well say the same about Yoruba. Stop ranting and act.

You are highly deluded!

We know of a tribe who believe they are being persecuted by the yorubas and hausa fulanis.

Go ahead, I give you support, their selfish and greedy mindset must be known to all, this is totally unfair, what is the crime of Yoruba people, buhari approached tinubu to form alliance towards 2011 election, tinubu gladly decline to give support to gej being a politician from the south, all the six states in sw voted gej except osun state, the only way they could pay us back is through conspicuous marginalisation, couple with molestation and angered mockery, you need to see the way they insulted obj , calling him all sort of names failing to achieve anything for south west. Claiming tinubu sold us to gej after collecting amala and ewedu in bribery from gej, only a bastard Yoruba will join in insulting tinubu, tinubu has done what many politicians failed to achieve for south west since awolowo..

It’s strange reading all this hated filled posts.
In fact I think God is simply fighting for the Yoruba's and we will always win because our hearts are pure...
I am sad some people could hate us so intensely for reasons I still can’t Fanthom. I never knew the people who lives in my region and who thrive there daily could wish such dark hatred to us...

I didn't threaten your tribe ,your guilt made you see that allusion.Obj who helped develop the SW gas infrastructure and many others is now anti-yoruba? I know a day would come when you peeps would also term osibanjo/Biharis tenure anti-yoruba.
Since you have started the chest beating,i want you to imagine what the SE having achieved much despite a lot of hostile (bordering on vicious) govt admins and laws, would become when we get the presidency?
I guess a lot of folks like you know, and that's why you lot scream "bloody hell" whenever the Igbo talk of getting power.

The same OBJ government that removed Abia and Imo from NDDC while helping Ondo gain many oil wells from Delta state.
Think of the gas project to Agbara that is firing SW industrialization.

When you see majority of us supporting this present PMB administration and Tinubu, you would not know where, we were coming from. Internet does not lie, you can see the SE from their previous post, only remember Biafra immediately PMB came to power. They suddenly remember Islamization of Nigeria, immediately PMB came.

Stop lying old man. Abia and Imo are still members of NDDC till today. In fact, Onyema Ugochukwu from Abia State served as the pioneer executive chairman of NDDC and he was appointed by OBJ.

Internet does not lie. When few of us were defending PMB and Tinubu , we know where we were coming from. Throughout my stay in the East for over 7 years during GEJ administration, I never heard of Biafra. But immediately PMB came, the Biafra or death National Anthem became a song.

You are still lying. NDDC was created by an act of parliament. No president can remove a member state without amending the act setting up the commission. Even Cross River that is no longer an oil producing state as a result of the 2012 Supreme Court judgement is still a member state of NDDC. OBJ never removed Abia and Imo from NDDC at any point in time.

Yet the same OBJ government appointed Onyema Ugochukwu from the NDDC member state of Abia as the Chairman of same NDDC?

Please sofry sofry tell lies on the internet, as many were already well informed and politically enlightened prior to the internet age.

You provided a news source that claims that NNPC conducted recruitment specifically for indigenes of the coastal states of the NigerDelta.

So, is NNPC the same as NDDC?
No!

And is Abia or Imo a coastal state of the NigerDelta?
No!

THE Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, has just named 2,500 candidates it invited for interviews in various centres in the country, under its 2006 graduate trainee programme, exclusive to the Coastal States of the Niger Delta,a recent creation of the Federal Government. NNPC says it is the first batch of the exercise.

The measure is actually a concerted effort to appease the restive youth
in the oil producing areas

And lastly did Imo and Abia have the restiveness/militancy that was being addressed by the recruitment measure?
No!

Yet people like you will still open your mouth and be parroting SE/SS, but in your hearts toucan never be pleased with anyone outside of your clan, not to even talk of tribe.

Tell us whose regime made Ifeanyi Uba of Capital Oil, the major importer of Kerosene into Nigeria?

It is the destiny of Igbos to always deny that anyone did them any good deed, so they are cursed to always wail that they were betrayed, even when they have not shown how they merited any loyalty.

This is a welcome development, the Yorubas should be effectively and perpetually marginalized and schemed out, because they deserve worst things also. What did they achieve for their rotten Yoruba states during wasted years of the baboon called Obasanjorijo Useless and woe tribe. They should step up the complaint, GEJ will as usual and as always mess them up. They forgot that Tinubo sold them out for a pot of 'ewodu', the same way their foolish leaders sold out abioala to the almajiris to be slaughtered.

Niger delta is considered to be majorly coastal states.
It didn't mean the region is entirely coastal.

Edo wasn't removed from the scheme, even when it isn't coastal per say.

Yes! Ohaji and Egbema parts of Imo are kin and kiths with ONELGA people of Rivers state . And have always to a certain degree had restiveness and militancy.

We are not against having SS states in the scheme. We believed that if Ondo and Edo were captured in the scheme , Imo and Abia should have as well.

Anyway, this whole point is to show that OBJ regime wasn't as bad to SW like a Yoruba poster here claimed. And he wasn't always favourable to SE as well.

No one should start using it as diversionary tactics.
Let's get back to topic.
