Hello room, please I need candid advise. I recieved letter of acceptance from Cambrian College in studying "Pre-health Science Pathway to Advance Diploma and Degree". However, the college instructed me to pay my tution deposit before the issuance of full admission.
I went to bank to make my transaction which eventually I got declined that I can't pay me tution fee deposit of 7962.16 as a result of no full offer of admission. Consequently, I wrote the school via email to notify them about my difficulties in settling my tution deposit, but unfortunately, the college insisted that i should make payment first before they can issue full letter of acceptance.
Although, i am deferring my admission for January intake 2020, but to avoid loosing my seat I rushed to pay term deposit of $500 seeing this on the college website to secure one seat by June 17 which is the due date for fall semester. Astonishing, they replied the term deposit i paid for was for domestic students and not international students who are supposed to pay first semester tution deposit ending by 24th of June.

What do I do please, bank declined payment because of no full acceptance letter while college refused to grant full letter of acceptance without tution deposit.

In essence, i recieved full admission letter from Confederation College with thesame course of study, the final date for tution deposit was 16th of June but I didn't opt for the college because I prefer Cambrian college to Confederation.

Now what do I do, should i write Confederation College to ask if they i can still pay tution deposit, then defer afterward. Moreso, i have paid $500 to Cambrian college is there any remedy to this? Thanks you all, looking forward to hearing from you.

Qudkom:

Tuition payment depends on the choice of institution. However regardless of tuition your available fund should cover the overall payment of your tuition for a year and living expenses. Before making payments always check the refund policy of the school.

Thanks boss

No, getting an accommodation will not improve your chances of getting a visa but submitting the right documents and writing a very good and convincing statement of purpose can improve your chances of getting a study visa.

Find out if you can make payment to your school through flywire, do you have a conditional admission letter? You should try Diamond bank, they help better with the school fees FORM A stuff.

Hello Boss,

I have just been called for the medicals as well.

Once that's done , what are the next steps and is the police report compulsory.
Do I get it together with the medical or do I wait for them to request for it?

Qudkom:

IOM in ikeja charge- The amount payable is 41,400 for adults 15 yrs and above, 32,700 for applicants 11 to less than 15 yrs, 28,900for applicants 5 to less than 11 yrs, 27,000 for applicants 0 to less than 5 yrs. All values are in Nigerian Naira.

Qlife- 35,000(Adults)

I did mine at Qlife family clinic. They request for your passport photograph and medical request for those that got it. After that you are called according to how you got there to pay and after that they give 3 tallies that come with different colours:
Tally A- blood test(HIV and syphilis)
Tally B- X-ray(You will enter a room and hug anxray machine to get your chest xray)
Tally C- body vitals; bp, eye sight (bring your glasses if you use one), check your height and weight.

Lastly, you will provide urine sample and see a doctor that will check your eyes, tongue and abdomen. The doctor will also ask about your medicsl history. It is advisable to get there early enough the process takes 3-5hrs. Hope this helps.

The Police clearance depends on your connection and could be anything from (3k-8k) but getting it done at the HQ in lagos shouldn't be more than 2k.

I was issued letter of acceptance which is the pre-admission letter with no missing requirements and not conditional admission. The college instructed me to pay my tution deposit which is via flywire before the issuance of full admission letter but now the problem is with my bank,UBA they declined and insisted on seeing the full offer of admission before the commencement of transaction. Thank for your reply.

If as you said you were instructed to make payment through flywire, you can do that on your own if your bank won't do it for you.

1. Make payment with your master or visa card (expensive option)
2. You can make a bank transfer if you have a domiciliary account (cheaper option)

I don't know about UBA, I know this options are easier with a GTB account.

Congratulations!
Il suggest that when you see the counterfoil number, give it 2-3 working days, then go to VFS Global for it.

I'll give you the same advise I gave Kez, pray. One would think after approval, returning the passport would be the easiest thing to do, but it's looking like that isn't the case. So bro, pray o. Pray.
