I wanted to contribute to this thread, after carefully gone through the comments, I can't believe what I read... How on earth would a reasonable human being said "Africa backwardness is as the results of how they treat their women?"

Is no longer a man's world but a woman now ....check banks, and other companies positions/strength, almost 80 percent are women, even in manufacturing industries men dominate in the unskilled low income section while women take the higher positions , my friend do the research on your own .

Soon men will be the ones doing all the domestic chores, bathing babies, washing thier (ladies)undies and other seemily lady duties then it will dawn on you that men are really honouring women. The Banks are doing well, manufacturing companies are doing well as you said because 80% are females. Sikena... I'm saying let's try that with leadership Nd politics at least we have results somewhere.

As per widows and widowers. Have you seen a widow chased by husbands family with children away from property and investments after death. Good have heard that about a widower? That's the explanation.

Submit kwa. Most men don't want their wives to flourish so they misbehave. Nobody is perfect including you wey dey find submission. But if a lady thrives well she will work with you well. Anyway I feel my job as a husband and father is to see both children and wify flourish to mk my job easier.

Note: our approach to thus topic I guess is our background. My mom was very successful and obedient same my dad was very supportive and successful.
