Downgrading to an older build is possible through software reload (flashing). In my opinion, is there any other reason why you want to downgrade aside the Xfont ish? If not, i'd suggest you shouldn't bother downgrading

I'm not 100% sure if the process will work on Oreo
But it did on my android L

When you download the app open it and click MTK settings...then scroll side ways to hardware...once u get to hardware testing. Scroll down to USB, then click...you'll see different uSB tests..select USB IF then you'll see some buttons..START AND STOP buttons

Click the first Start button or any of em after plugging your charger or before plugging it in....my memory of the process is still a bit hazy...

Did you install a third-party camera app? If yes, uninstall it and try searching for the stock camera app under Settings->Apps (show system apps) to see whether it is there but disabled (the previously installed app might have disabled it though less likely without root).

If this does not work, go to your gallery and see if you can launch the camera from there. If you can't then you have a software glitch. In this case, backup your files and data then do FACTORY RESET. Let's know the outcome after trying all these.

I know some who would use more crappy phones and won't complain at all. It doesn't change the fact that the phone is crappy. If an Infinix or tecno user switches to a Xiaomi, Nokia or even a mid-range Samsung phone that is in the same budget category as a particular transsion product, his experience would never be the same. I've been there so I know. Don't worry, when or if u see the light, u will also be disgusted too at transsion products, so for now, ENJOY

Revert what you did... If reverting does not still work, that means what you did has modified some system files such as build.prop. In build.prop, there is a line of code that controls your rotation. With root you can easily fix whatever system modification it is.

Revert first then let me know what's up.
