The time frame of your approved leave and when you are returning to work. Let the dates be clear
Seeyat:

Pardon my typo, I have no objection letter from my employer

What's needed to be added in your point of view?
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by giselle237: 2:25pm On Jun 24, 2019
Oh chimmooo. How much did you write that you spend monthly on your needs and your dependent brother?
Subtract that sum from your salary, what is remaining at every month? What figure?

Then I think you should wait until you get a better paying job before reapplying.

... spending upto 3 months of your salary on a trip is a red flag.
Osemigho:

I don’t think the budget can work if you don’t have a family in the UK. Last LAgos-Gatwick return flight that I booked is about 240k. So, I don’t know how one will survive with 100k for 7 days.

Is objection letter a letter of introduction or leave?

I don’t think there is a general formulae. It is every applicant duty to present a very convincing case.

I meant to type "No objection letter"

I booked a hostel for 7 days at #38,220 that's £84
Transportation £36
Feeding: £182
Upkeep: £50
Flight ticket I got is #235k

Date of employment and designation is stated, also approved leave date and returning is also stated on the letter. Abeg no vex o, do i still need a leave letter after collecting no objection letter?

So sorry about the refusal. Just encourage your self in the lord. and work on your refusal and when your circumstances changes you can apply again. I will advice you to cool down, organise y self then after six months you make a fresh application.

The reasons for the refusal are obvious. The ECO is not satisfied of your personal and financial circumstances. The salary is not sufficient to travel with the dependant you have. The budget stated for seven days is twice your income. The ECO is also not convinced that you will return to home country after your short visit.
Your salary is not much. U can get additional job as part time to boost your salary in next application. So from your permanent and additional job your salary can increase. So from all sources of income after tax u can earn more than your current salary. All the best

You could have gotten the visa if you had reduced your budget and not to have stated your brother as a dependent

The budget in the first place is small for 7days trip and you still talk about reduced shocked. How much you want her to reduce it to? To 250? Or what? No way that she can be given visa with such budget she stated in her application. From her buget once the flight fare is removed, then what is left? Who then takes care of her living expenses and accommodation in the UK. The ECO is not satisfied that she can fund the trip which is obvious in the refusal letter.

If she has a dependent she should state it, it is left for her to know the amount she gives to her dependant . Let the amount be reasonable to the salary she earns.

When u said the budget is small, don't you think budget can be reduced by booking a cheap hostel instead of an expensive hotel?

With your current circumstances you cannot logically afford a holiday in the UK, this is what the ECO has told you.

Why don't you wait and try again when your circumstances change.

Yes, buget can be reduced by booking a cheap hostel instead of hotel. But even if you reduced the buget by booking cheaper hostel. If the budget is not sufficient for your trip the ECO will still refuse visa. U will need to satisfy the ECO that u have sufficient money to visit, u are not coming to UK to depend on public funds or work to get money.

In her application the budget she stated is N327,000 there about. She might have book cheaper accommodation to reduce buget, but from this amount if you remove flight fare estimated 250k, she is left with 77k, let assume she booked cheap accommodation like 38k for seven days. She will be left with 39k which is very poor for other expenses. ECO will be afraid to give such a person visa bc the person might be stranded in the UK and think of overstaying or working to feed for the duration of stay.

From your recent post u stated this

"I booked a hostel for 7 days at #38,220 that's £84"

I dont think adding shopping to it is a must, besides i've booked a cheap hostel as to make my budget reasonable

Even if you book the cheapest hostel to make your budget reasonable. If the budget is not sufficient enough for your duration of stay the ECO will still refuse you visa.

Shopping is not a must but there is no one that have gone to UK as a visitor that does not shop even if it is the cheapest thing for your family. Let the ECO d'nt see u as bin selfish grin not wanting to spend y money in their country. Make your budget look rich in the eyes of the ECO. My advice

Hi all,

Pls should I scan only my data page and past visas
Also for past visas should it be only UK or I should
Scan my America and schengnen visas as well?

Also should I scan the checklist and upload? Or just bring to the venue

Thanks & apologies if this has been answered before

You could have got visa: if only you follow the basic rule:

NEVER BUDGET TO SPEND MORE THAN TWO TIMES YOUR MONTHLY INCOME.

If you wanna apply again, estimate your travel budget to be less than 2 times your monthly income.
If you had stated your brother is not depending on you, you would have free up money which would have
made your budget rule accepted.

REMEMBER AGAIN, NEVER BUDGET TO SPEND MORE THAN TWO TIMES YOUR MONTHLY INCOME. That is the first thing they check.
Everything you did is correct but just adjust your budget to the above rule.

However, if one has a sponsor who is responsible for the trip, the above rule does not apply

Your ticket is even more expensive than mine. That hostel is very cheap sha. You are lucky to find that. I am new in this paro. However;

Will 36 for seven days of transport be enough? Except I am missing something, I don't think that is enough for a cab from Gatwick to Central London.

Feeding with 182 for seven days? Na so food cheap for the UK? 26 a day?

Your budget is very tight I must say. Nothing for entertainment. I guess some tourist locations would need you to pay.

You might be lucky sha. All the best.

Your job in a multinational is a very strong ties for you. U can add your family if u have any in Nigeria. U will write in a cover letter to ECO that u will definitely return back to your home country after your vacation because you have siblings or family which you are very much attached to. ( So your family serves as ties too). You can add pictures of you and your family
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by giselle237: 10:24pm On Jun 24, 2019
since you are not yet married, show proof that your immediate family is in Nigeria and would be in nigeria during the period of your travel amd as such can not abandon your family to go and live in the uk. Proofs could include birth certificates of siblings, work id or student ids of siblings to show they are present in Nigeria, pictures and any documentation to show your family ties and the bond you share.
If you have any properties, a car perhaps attach the documentation too.
You only talked about not been married, if you have a child your child can also serve as tie whilst you submit all birth records, photographs, school fees receipts and any evidence to solidify that the child will be in nigeria with the grannies while u undertake ur trip

Let your dad or mum write a letter indicating that you are dedicated towards their well being and you will not neglect them in Nigeria and stay beyond your stated duratiom in the UK. They should enclose their passport biodata page , national ID Card or Drivers license as means of identity
