I know it's been a while since I came here. The situation I have is i am currently out of the country and i applied since July 2018 online for my student visa. Cic only requested for medicals on the 13th of June 2019 and my admission has already been cancelled cos I already deferred once and i don't have any admission pending. Should I go ahead and do medicals here in the usa without an admission letter available. Please what should I do. This is something I have waited literally 2years for cos my admission took 8 months before visa took a year approximately. Ur urgent response would be appreciated. And is there any guru that can send me their no so I can call them to discuss extensively on this.

@Qudkom has said it all, to ahead and do your medical now, then contact the school you got admitted before and let them know CIC has asked for your medical which means your app will be approved soon. Tell them you will like to apply for another admission (you might not be asked to submit further documents since they already have it with them) but admission fee will be a must. Also you should try to apply to other schools just in case(to increase your chances). He fast about it because CIC should approved your app once they receive your medical result. You can apply from the UK as long as your permit is still valid, try and apply while your UK permit is still valid(it will be in your favour as the processing time and scrutiny won't be as much compared to if you are applying from Nigeria). Good luck

A guy had a case similar to yours in part 14 or 15: go ahead with the application, the good thing is that you don't need Biometric from the UK, so, you can definitely apply from a foreign land but your passport submission will be in Nigeria, therefore, you will eventually touch your home country soil.

As long as his UK study permit is valid he can apply and submit his passport over there. Once he is a legal resident in any part of the world he can apply and submit his passport there.

Is it possible to get approve , my sponsore as use all his money to buy a goods as he deal in wholesales buying and selling and of recent he open another new brance and bought a new bus for his business. So for now his account is not up to 3m .. and my school program is 4years which is $18,000 CAD per year.

Birth certificates of siblings is not compulsory, there's more to this visa application with home ties than the siblings credentials. Moreover, it's not stated anywhere in cic website.
You can always convince the VO on home ties apart from the siblings credentials, of course you have them in the forms. Let's stop making some of these things a do or die affair.

That is why I said on the previous qoute that if the intention is not to use them as home ties, then he/she does not need to present the birth certificate. Siblings are ur family members and therefore can stand in as ur social ties to Nigeria if u so chose.

I was in the bathroom taking my bath and at the same time playing music with my phone, my music got interrupted and it was an email that entered. Still sponging my body I walked close to my phone to see and it was CIC “donotreply”, you have a new message(s) in your account, I didn’t even know when my sponge fell off my hands. I just picked my phone and ran out of the bathroom like that with my soapy body, my mother saw me on the way and was surprised!.. I told her mum the hour is here Canada just replied and I don’t know if it’s a refusal or approval- she shouted and joined me as I run to my room-. As I was logging into my account my hands were uncontrollably and terribly shaking, My mum kept shouting for grace as my account was loading, lo and behold it’s an approval guys.. we laughed and hugged ourselves . Now, Let me go back and complete my shower will be back for the full testimony.

Ever since then I haven’t heard from cic why the delay not until June 21st they contacted me about a fraudulent bank statement I used for my application. I have been given 10days to respond. Please what can I do, this is my 4th day and the time is fast ticking, I need help. I don’t want to be banned, I have even broadcasted about my traveling. This shame is gonna be too much on me. Good day guys, over 2 weeks ago when I collected my passport I found this slip in it, I mailed them immediately because I couldn't find any mail from them, they auto replied that they'll get back to me in 5 days, 5 days was over I them send a reminder mail, but it's still the same auto reply telling me 5days again. I'm tired o, what can I do now? Is there any other mail I could write please? Thanks guys

Can family members be used as ties? Is there anybody on this earth that doesn't have family members? I don't see family members as being a home tie if u ask me though. From the little I know about this CIC guys, there is no standard. What works for one person might not work for the other. Just do what is best and what suits your situation. My 2cents

There is no big deal about that! If you actually know that the bank statement you submitted is not fake, go to your bank and print out 1year statement of account with bank reference letter, write letter of explanation stating you never fudge any account statement. That all the documents submitted are verifiable. But if the statement is fake! Sorry is a bank. Act fast broda

@abusmanlouis advice Is the best you're going to get on this issue. If you know you used a fake statement then there is nothing in this world you can do. You'll get banned for 10-15yrs and be flagged especially from other countries like usa, uk, Australia etc that share data with them.

So on the contrary print out the statement for a year and send it in. All the best.

Between you and this forum, Is the statement of account FAKE or REAL? If it is not fake then you have nothing to be scared about, just reply CIC and let them know the statement isn't fake and you can include a letter from the bank as well to prove your claim. But if the statement is FAKE, sorry my brother there's nothing you can do about it than to face whatever CIC brings your way(might be 5 years ban)

I have a strong feeling he used a fake/doctored statement of account (I might be wrong though), because if not he has no reason to be scared.

Congratulations to all those who recently got medical call and those who have gotten their TRV. Also to those who are waiting for CIC to return their stamped passports, big ups. For those still waiting to hear from CIC, don't give up (CIC will get back to you ASAP). For those who have heard from CIC but denied, try to order for your gcms note, repackage your app and refire(especially if you think you did somethings wrong in your previous app). For those who don't have enough funds to study in Canada and you have very good grades, try to seek funding from schools. For those who don't have enough funds and don't have good grades, try other countries for now(please don't ask me where as you can use Google to search that ). Have a blessed day

CIC is getting very very strick with applications from Nigeria as they are getting wiser by the day. As long as all your documents are authentic then no cause for alarm bro, they will surely stamp your passport. Hopefully between now and the mid-July they will return stamped passports to their owners (those without any issues).

Paid MY SCHOOL FEES by MYSELF here so anyone saying its not possible. It is very very possible.
Work permit approved within 38 days for 3 years and also landed a good job with good pay. GOD is great
