I dont do much outbound but you can get a free usa number for free. Just go to google store and download Textme app. You get a free us number to call anywhere in the world. But I am afraid your accent might give you off.

Or better still, search google and query 'how to get free usa number'

I tried textme but is not going any longer... And you can't use it for main call, just WhatsApp and WhatsApp call.
Although there service is dead for now

Yeah I have seen another huge barrier
I was do some outbond, but I was mainly using there chat online to chat with target customer. the domain I was doing outbound for is scottsdaleautodealers/king I barely get to see there email so I decided to chat them up, then I was getting response from customers service "the will forward my message to the sales department and all that" the sales department says ok is a nice name but you got place a call direct to the dealership and if the get a go ahead the will purchase it"
Seems the Dealership is like the Oga,
Now see the barrier I CAN'T PLACE A CALL WITH MY F*UCKING NIGERIA NUMBER..... I don't even know who to blame,
Just few that accept the will send in my offer to the dealership and the need a number the can with which reach me and am like am out of the country for business I use email because of the international charge rate
The be like Okies
But men a number is a number, the will probably forget the email.

Has anyone been in such shit share your experience

You know that guy on namepros that sell lots of GEO I think his team calls directly to the target company.
But we all just rely on mail which takes time

I agree with you 100 percent that being a Nigerian, working from home
in Nigeria, is a BIG MINUS. But I can tell you most of you are not doing this
business professionally. It costs money to make money.

You need to register a domain name of your own, get web hosting and
start a blog on the domain. You'll not sell this domain and blog. It's your
business office. Start blogging about domain topics which you have
researched on trendy information. Become a brand in your industry. In 6
months or more, your name would become a household name if you're
consistent about it. Refer your potential clients to it if they're in doubt.

If you treat it as a going concern business, you'll not defraud anybody
because your name is at stake too. You'll be honest in every of your dealings
with people you're doing business with at arm's length transaction.

When you have good footprints online, you won't be skeptical about giving
out your Nigeria mobile number or calling a foreigner with your Nigeria number.
Don't forget there's "phone lookup" service abroad. I don't know if Nigeria has
that service here. Any foreigner in doubt but is business minded can look you up.

In 2012 while in Nigeria, I sold a domain name for $260. (Mind you, I've been
online since 2007). I noticed Sedo.com was asking me for info that will stall the sale.
I promptly told my potential buyer that Sedo.com is not an option right away.
Do you know he suggested Ecop.com for the transaction? This is because I had
footprints he trusted!

But you must be ready to pay it forward. For example, Jide Offor has good
footprints (and desires to maintain it in the foreseeable future) that is why
he could confidently approach Escrow.com to include Nigeria in their approved
countries.

Sedo.com is excluding and banning Nigerians today because of what some of us
did in the past. I learnt (but not confirmed) that Clickbank.com used to accept
Nigerians in the long time past. Everyone needs to be honest in what we do in
order to regain foreigners' confidence in us. It's as simple as that but it's not going
to be an overnight thing.

Imagine with the volume of business transaction Nigerians are doing with
PayPal.com, we're not allowed to become merchants to receive payments here in
Nigeria? Too bad!

I've been selling through PayPal.com on a daily basis and I know there are other
Nigerians that can do better than me. If you make $50 per day from selling digital
information products, will that not change your fortunes?

I've been reading this domaining thread and I see some of us asking their counterparts
to click on one link which is against terms of service of the providers and I say Nigerians at
it again. This information is indexed on the web and open to all and sundry to read. Can
you do business with such a person? Remember when palm oil touches one finger it stains
others as well.

There are hard working young Nigerians like I see in this thread, you can form a formidable force
to crack down on fraudsters whether he is your brother or sister, make them see reasons
why they should desist from nefarious activities and Nigeria will be a better place to be and
do business, sooner than later.

See Ghana here. You can open Clickbank.com account and Nigeria, the Giant of Africa, is
dwarfed. Our government has a lot to do to rebuild our damaged image abroad.

Something has to be done
Nigerians always find a way.
Bro if you get any leads inform me please
I don't believe in using phone calls to conclude a deal in selling a domain. Fine, I have witnessed this occasionally but what I always tell them is " am not in your country for now and I will prefer email communication. Visit - - - - - - - - for more details on how to acquire this domain name or reply to this email directly if you have further enquiries." and I must tell you it has worked severally for me EXCEPT if the person is not a serious buyer. Why should I call you before we have a deal when we can easily communicate via mail?

A prospect once requested for a telephone conversation on one of my domains, told we should do emails, he declined for fear of fraud. He insisted on a phone call, I then suggested whatsapp which he accepted, immediately I called and he saw it was a Nigerian number, that was the end. He never picked nor replied any of my emails thereafter. Dude wasn't even white, he's a darkskinned man like me undecided

Bosses in the house,

It seems not everyone here especially newbies know how to do outbound properly. As it appears, having a great sales letter isn't the only thing involved but knowing where to direct it.

Can someone kindly post the procedures of outbounding to end users?

E.g using Bing, YellowPages &/or Yelp as a case study.

Anyone intrested in your domain will buy it
Even if you use Nigerian Number or not
Continue using your mail service
I won't advise cold calling only if the client tells you to call him

Just keep sending a reminder, and when you feel reminders are enough, move on to another end-user.

Let me share u a story,
I had a domain I was suppose to sell to a end-user for 250$
Turned out he lost interest in the domain for reasons best known to him. Sent my reminder upon the domain thrice with two weeks, noticed no response, I cancelled the transaction with the buyer and did more outbound. Domain sold two days after to another buyer for 500$

Just let your outbound be aggressive using both bing and Google, yelp, BBB.org, and look for directory that covers the domain of interest.

Cheers

you are actually correct, tho I'm a newbie In the game, I've already set up plans of expansion similar to what you said up there. This business is serious stuff, there's no month I don't make atleast a sale in 3F dols. From my small experience At least one in 4 domains outbounded gets a strong response. Following some up with calls is a huge challenge as I usually result to speaking grammar in mails undecided, some also want to be sure you are the owner of the domain........well, I have some ideas brewing, also researching and learning more. Hopefully, I can put my plans into action soonest.
