I really don't understand why this is being made to be an issue that is extremely controversial and needless.
The school uniform dictates no hijab or head covering. We need to separate religion from State, from education, from social life.
You are advocating to be left to have hijab as part of school uniforms, but force people to swear allegiance to an oath (UNDER DURESS) to make a comment here on a public forum?
If wearing Hijab won't work in school, go to one that it will be allowed. You take it off for visa interviews. You take it off at Passport office. Why not allow the students to take it off during school hours and wear it as soon as they leave the school premises.

School premisses is not a religious place....she supposed to remove her hijab before entering

It is a federal school on federal property not a private Christian school. Under federal law, she can use her hijab.

Last I checked, they also do pray as Christians on school grounds Mondays to Thursdays. I don't see Muslim parents protesting.

This thought crossed my mind. I don't think they are connected. You are free to dress in your taste in the university even if it driven by religious preference.

However, a secondary or primary school has its uniform. The parent actually said they didn't allow his daughter wear ADORNMENT on her uniform. Would the catholics also fight for something too? What about traditional worshippers? There would be no end to the chaos. The school is focused on learning not all this unnecessary distractions. How many people have passed through ISI over the decades doing great? Did their failure to wear hijab limit them? Next thing, the boys would request to wear short trouaerw and keep a goatee based on religious preference. This is a distraction that should be nipped in the bud.
