Please, this is quite urgent. I was invited for medicals last week which I am yet to carry out. But I just got a mail from Nairobi that I need to verify my bank statements. Please, can anyone advise me on the easiest way to carry out this?

You must reply to this request by email within 7 days providing a PDF copy of your “MyBank Statement Ticket” containing the ticket ID and passcode. If completed online you can send the original PDF file. If done at your branch you will need to scan the paper copy of your “MyBank Statement Ticket” into a PDF file. Please remember to include your application number in your reply message.

ps: The Accounts aren't fraudulent, I used 3 of my dad's accounts. 2 Naira Accounts and One Dollar account. pls, help. Thanks

1. Book for your medical if you haven't.
2. Go to the bank with your dad to re-print the account statements, make sure you tell the bank it's for Canadian embassy so they can have it properly stamped and signed. Scan to PDF and send to them.
Or have the bank send it to them directly with your application number.
Or have your dad send it to them directly from only banking. (but I don't like this bcoz I don't know how it will be stamped)
Medicals you can do BTW 30days, bank statements on 7days. Act fast but be careful and clear.

Hi Good day all,
I applied for a study visa and I was told to do the medical last week from the embassy.
I’ve seen that I passed the medicals.
Can I be rest assured my Visa will be approved ?
And how long does it take get a decision after this ?
Yes. You and more than 85% good to go.
Congratulations!

sop - Statement of purose.
loe - Letter of explanation.

Basically, sop is where you talk about your study plan while loe is used for addressing issues like previous refusals, lump sum in an account, etc[/quote thank you imela

Good day all, am about to apply for my study permit, but my program has an unpaid work requirement, which requires me to apply for a co-op work permit.

Please do I apply separately?

Goodmorning,

You are to apply for a student permit, if you're using the online route, you'll asked during the application if you would need a co-op permit, tick yes at that point.

Hope this helps.

Goodmorning,

Being requested by the embassy to undergo a medical examination is a good update, and as such, it's a big step towards a TRV.

I'll encourage you by saying that you are very close to an approval.

Decisions can take from a few days to weeks.. Buh, have faith for the best report and go on with your daily commitments.

Hope this helps.

Please what am I to upload on "Request for medical exams(Required). On clicking the question mark there it said "Indicate of you would like us to send you instructions and forms for a medical examination by filling out a Request for Medical Exam Form". On clicking the Request for a Medical Exam Form, it directs me to a page which writes "Do you need a Medical Exam?" Options are; Yes I want to complete a medical exam and No

Very fine then. But make sure you create a first page that will list all documents you will be submitting in each placeholder. It would really help the VO reviewing your application.

I hope you understand this.

By God's grace you would be favoured this time around in Jesus precious name. Amen

Please, do you mean I should have a list of the docs I'm submitting for example under LOA and put it as the first page of the PDF file, then followed by the docs proper?

Morning Guys,

I received a request to go for medicals and I did the tests at IOM Ikeja on the 3rd of July and my profile is yet to change as at today...has anyone experienced similar situation or does anyone know what the problem might be? Could it be that IOM is yet to forward the results to CIC?

Good morning everyone, I am new here. A friend recently introduced me to this thread. I have a quick question, and sorry if it has been asked before.
I applied through the paper route on may 15th 2019, but linked it online June 13th. When I did, I saw that my background check and eligibility review were both running concurrently, and since then I haven't received any update.
I sent a web form last Tuesday, but didn't get any reply not even an email to acknowledge that they got the web form. This is the 8th week BTW.
Now my question is this, is it advisable to send them an email? Has anyone been in this situation and got a positive reply by sending an email? Or should I send another web form?
Thanks

I applied online since February and I submitted passport on 14th of June. I haven't heard anything too

I will advise you start praying more cos at this point, the lagos embassy is currently doing a secondary review of your application.. which is why it's delaying.. stay positive

Good evening my good people,
May God crown all efforts on our TRV applications with brilliant success. Amen.
Please I'm reapplying for my study permit tomorrow after the initial refusal. Below are the lists of docs I'm planning to submit.

All CIC docs
My passport
My digital photo

LOA
Letter of Acceptance, tuition deposit receipt, BSc cert, transcript, NYSC, SSCE, Updated CV, Current appointment letter as a project consultant, letters of previous employments, TOEFL result.

Proof of Financial Means
SOA (Joint acct with wife), tuition deposit, current appointment letter, proof of wife employment, CAC docs of our distribution company, our building docs, our land docs, other asset docs a car and a bus, my pension fund acct stm, SOA of co-sponsor.
.
Client Info
SOP, LOE addressing the refusal reasons, support letter from wife, LO co-sponsorship, affidavit of co-sponsorship & bank ref letter, letter from the MD of the company I'm consulting for presently, my birth cert, my son's birth cert, marriage cert, wife & son's passports, PCC, my wedding pics showing my uncle co-sponsor.

Our gurus in the house please help me peruse this, is the arrangement OK? is there any doc to remove or add? I don't want the VO to get confused. please note my Co-sponsor is a cocoa merchant, no CAC docs only bank ref letter.

Reasons for previous refusal are, travel history, personal assets and financial status and purpose of visit which I have addressed carefully in my new SOP and LOE. School fee is CAD26000 and we have built our joint acct up to CAD47000.

Advice needed please!

The packaged documents are okay, just try to tie your faith to were your luck and believe is, the rest would fall through.

Good luck!

Yes. This is a better response. Contact the hospital as regards medical result. Then as regards Cic, wait a little. The normal processing time is 9weeks. Contact them will be better after then.

Its of no need telling them that u changed a program or school, you can just simply discuss about the correlation of ur proposed program with your previous studies and current employment.. Peace
Obehi44:

Thanks for your response.
But do I need to explain or mention that I change course or school either in my SOP/LOE or at any point in my reapplication?
