As I read through this thread, a revelation that I had recently struck me again: Nigerian men and women are one and the same. The whole world knows about the scamming Nigerian man who marries for a green card then acts an ass and leaves or brings his real wife over from Nigeria. We also know that the real wife and the man’s entire family will be in on the scam. We’ve even heard of the man moving the Nigerian wife in with the foreign wife, pretending she is his sister or cousin. The lack of humanity and regard for others is astounding to us foreigners. But we have known African men to be this way for a long time.

Lately I’ve learned Nigerian women are just as deceitful. They’ll chase anything white or foreign they see in Nigeria because he represents a green card. They’ll also sleep with anybody and particularly love married men because they’re established and can give money.

So it seems this greedy, user mentality is a Nigerian/3rd world desperation thing. It’s not just men who lack integrity but a societal thing. I’m sure it’s not EVERYONE but it’s enough that you should be able to realize you really can’t insult one another about this issue because both of you-the men and women-are equally horrible and perfectly matched.

I have been thinking about this for long. Why are many Nigerian men crazy about dating and marrying women from developed countries such as US, UK Germany, etc. They don't even care about skin colour so far you live in such a country you become an object of attraction to them.


Over the years I have been privileged to meet many whites and I'm still alarmed at the number of Nigerian men, specially from Edo state dating and marrying foreigners. They don't even care if the women are divorced, widowed and with kids.

With this question you are just confirming what i'm pointing out - the difference in memtal bent towards realtionship. Again it depends on the attitude of the guy. An educated guy will use his brain and apply himself to be worthwhile to the white helpmate and worthwhile he can be to her given that they dont necessarily evaluate guys mainly based on material input like their naija counterparts.

Anyways, thrown out or not, once the white chick has helped the guy obtain papers ( providing a life changing opportunity without even being ones village, country of continent person) has done more than enough for him than the average black chick can think or accomodate in her sense to offer.
