@Frankrobbn1 and other gurus in the house, if your medicals have been passed and both eligibility and background checks are simultaneously going on. What does that mean for one's application (upfront medicals)?

Just got my GCMS note. How do you recommend I tackle this? Also, does this mean that there was no issue with the proof of funds docs submitted? Can someone who successfully got a visa after these reasons help out, please?
To me this thing is just luck. But I also hate that fact that it's just luck. Some people gets TRV without any travel history and they will tell some that they either don't have travel history or they don't like the travel history. I see it as wickedness, flirt excuses, just ways if refusing people. Telling them different reasons.
Anyway, in your case, if your passport is empty, the VO says you should travel small even if its Ghana or Togo or Kenyan or Dubai.

Meanwhile, please what date did you order for the GCMS note and how where you notified?

Contrary to your claim, I read here on this platform that the VOs do not mark Travel history as the only reason for visa refusal, however, once the purpose of the visit is vague and poorly documented, travel history is checked among other reasons.

Also, traveling to Ghana or South Africa doesn't count as travel history. On the flip side, travels to countries in Europe, Canada, US and UK are considered strong traveling history. Meanwhile, it will gladden your heart to know that most persons here have received their approvals without prior travel history.

Please do well do read posts from Frankbonn1, Qudkom and some other intellectuals on how to tackle your refusals.

I hope this helps?

Please read my response very well before you fire me. I am not claiming anything and intact if you had read well, you would have understood that I was trying to say it's just an excuse and I even clearly mentioned that some got TRV without any travel history.
Mind you, I am not claiming to know anything. So please if you want to help, direct your response to the moniker that asked the question originally.

simply choose any of the methods convenient for you. if you go with a wire transfer, it means you will be needing US dollars which you can obtain by changing your naira and depositing same into your dollar account with your bank. you can then do an international transfer depending on the amount the school requested you pay. You must ensure you include your application number and the purpose of payment in the reference section of your transfer. If you are going to use your master or visa card, you don't need to go changing your naira, simply choose the card payment option, fill in your card details and your billing address, the equivalent Canadian dollar will be removed from your account. Note you must know the current exchange rate your bank is selling Canadian dollar to naira so you have the exact naira equivalent in your account so your transaction does not get declined due to insufficient funds. www.abokifx.com should help you in that regards. Note your naira master or visa card must be enabled for international transaction. Contact your bank to confirm if it is enabled for international payment.

Travel history is not really an important reason visa get delayed. i got my study visa on a fresh two months old passport with no travel history. It's better to tackle other stuff like proof of funds, purpose of visit and ties than to focus on travel history.

p.s. i didn't even write any statement of purpose.

Do not relent. It means you are financially okay. Repackage your SOP and LOE very well and re-apply with the same financial status or a little higher. It will end up in praise.
