Kai, see comedy. Maintaining one's distance from evil people automatically means hatred for such people? Obviously, none of those saints in Ephesus wanted to be corrupted by the evil lifestyle of those evil doers, hence they maintain their boundaries...

It does not mean one would go the extra mile to hate the person committing such acts...

Unless you are telling us Jesus was lying in Luke 6 v 35... concerning how God loves evil people.

Jesus further clarified their inability to bear evil in their midst to mean hating the DEEDS of the Nicolaitans, and not the evil doers themselves.

See shameless twisting of the scriptures to justify hatred by alBHAGDADI...

Jesus didn't say maintain distance. He said throw them away from the church. Neither did he say throw their deeds away. He said throw them away. That's a demonstration of hate for them.

You only stay away from people you hate, not people you love.

The guy beat you hands down. I can see you are already recycling Luke 6 which he explained already

Ok, does death have power? Yes.

Why was it mentioned separately from Powers?

I'll put the meaning of Power from that link here...

Mumu

Man made commentaries doesn't speak for the Bible. The Bible already stated that sin has power aka Dominion. So therefore it falls under the category of Powers.

Romans 6:14 (KJV)
14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace

Instead of going with the Bible, you are relying on man made interpretation probably done by a Satanist like you.

What James 2 v 19 means.

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.compellingtruth.org/amp/even-the-demons-believe.html

Paying lip service without actions is nothing but fraud.

Mere Belief is not sufficient... Even Demons believe...

Anyone can say they believe. But as long as it doesn't come from the heart, it is not faith, just mere lipservice

Romans 10:10
For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

According to the gospel of LifestyleTonite and alBHAGDADI, Jesus said His followers should show hatred for evil people.

The same Jesus that gave full clarity on how the church of Ephesus hated the DEEDS of the Nicolaitans, rather than the Nicolaitans themselves in Revelation 2 v 6.

The same Jesus that said the following words in Luke 6 v 35 about loving evil people:

35 But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.

According to LifestyleTonite and alBHAGDADI, chasing such people out of the church automatically means you are full of hatred for them, rather than their actions...

Very very interesting.

Matthew 7 v 15-20;

15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

Mumu

The passage is talking of false prophets and their fruits, not works required to be saved.

When the Bible speaks of bearing fruit, it speaks of bringing forth a disciple of our kind. A false prophet who is a bad tree will only produce bad disciples who are bad fruits.

Just as Good told Adam and Eve to produce fruits and multiply, that's the kind of fruits spoke of here. Adam and Eve produced fruits like themselves e.g Abel and Cain. A chimpanzee cannot produce a fruit that's human. Likewise, a false prophets cannot produce a good fruit i.e a good disciple, because he's a bad tree. That's why he's hewn down and thrown into the fire.

The passage is speaking of false prophets. Even from the first line in verse 15, we get the context. It is not speaking of works based salvation. tongue

Smh...so that means a Christian can still go about bearing bad fruits and be saved...

That means a Christian who professed Jesus is Lord, but goes about shedding innocent blood for money rituals is saved from eternal destruction in the lake of fire...

15 So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitanes, which thing I hate.

He also asked for those who hold the doctrine of Balaam to be thrown out of his church.

14 But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.

Look very closely at what Jesus had against that church that upheld the doctrines of Balaam...

It was the doctrine of Balaam Jesus hated, and not the people indulging in such!

You have a very wrong understanding of what Love entails.

If you pray for a fraudster to change from his ways, that is love.

If you rebuke a Fraudster to change from his ways that is love.

Love does not and will never endorse the act of fraud...

And that I report a Fraudster to the appropriate authorities for prosecution does not mean I hate the Fraudster.

Jesus hates the people and lambasted his church for keeping them in the church. You can't twist Jesus statement to mean it's their deeds he hated.

14 But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.

No, you don't report someone you love to the aithorities who will destroy him. It's only someone you hate you do that to.

You forget that it was Zacheus who searched for Jesus which led to Jesus finding him and coming into Jos house. Jesus saw that he was willing to have an encounter with him. Zacheus even showed it by by repenting. It means he had it in his heart. But evil people don't haven't on their heart at all to repent. They just want to be accepted with their evil ways. That is where you've gotten it totally wrong...

I have repeated it many times, Loving someone does not mean you should accept his or her evil ways. Is basic English too difficult for you to understand?

After praying and rebuking someone for doing wrong, and he does not change or make restitution. Reporting such a person to the appropriate authorities must be done. It does not connote hatred for such a person.

The person has to face justice for doing evil... especially when such a person does not repent...

You have gotten the entire concept of love wrong. That is why you think love also connotes tolerating evil, rather than shunning it...

Jesus has never shown hatred for any man. He only hates sin.

That notwithstanding, unrepentant sinners will be judged for their evil. This is why God is Just.

A God of Mercy, yet a God of Justice...

Jesus clearly mentioned what it meant to abide in Him.

It means to OBEY His commandments. That is the works expected of Believers to abide in Him.

Or is your version of John 15 different from what I've put on this thread?
you dont know what it means to believe in Christ?

You cannot obey christ when you dont trust in him.

To Abide mean to trust or to depend or remain yes if a man depend on Jesus he will obey him but that is not the primary meaning of abiding.

John 15:10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.

Jesus was telling them that if they keep his commandments which is to love each other they will abide (assure, settled) in his love.

How do we know we abide in him nothing if love the believers.

yes it is.
Jesus want believers to obey him out of love

John 14:15
If ye love me, keep my commandments.

His commandment is nothing but for his disciples to reciprocate his love to the believers.

It does not contradict the gospel that salvation is by faith without works but such faith must be a SAVING FAITH which is described as a faith that worketh by love.

Galatians 5:6
For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.

Do you see that the faith that saves is a faith that work? Not just work but work by love freely?

So in conclusion you see that salvation is by the right faith in christ alone.
