And then we have one dude with max contract called Andrew Wiggins who has taken pride in his consistency. Dude has managed to remain the same since he was drafted. And then there is Giannis improving every year. angry angry

A tale of two franchises, both of them bet on the upside of one of their young players and gave them a $100million max contract that they had not really earned. One of those players(Giannis)has been an all NBA caliber player and MVP of the league, while the other(Wiggins) just plateaued and became the poster boy for early bad max contracts.

Boy did I hate the Spurs in the early 00's especially Duncan and how annoyingly efficient he was. That bank shot was so money and this guy just found a way to raise his game in the playoffs. Every time

Giannis does not need a 3 pt shot IMO. Just a reliable jumper whether from 8-12ft that he can hit even at a 50 percent clip. LeNomad for example is less than 40% from the floor anywhere outside 3ft. Career. Let that sink in

Speaking as a Spurs fan, Tim Duncan during the early 00's was a stone cold killer, boring but a killer. His ability to just get a bucket or a stop whenever his team needed it was just astonishing.

Lol, see people hurrying to agree that Steph struggled, just because it supports their argument.

AD...not only is he a better shooter, he reads the game better. Scary thing about Giannis is he has a long way to go, but already won MVP just on raw talent.
Didn't deserve the MVP if you ask me. But hey, who am I to argue?
Re: The NBA Begins by steady986(m): 9:23pm On Jul 20, 2019

Previously I'd take AD. Presently I roll with Giannis. Let's gloss over the fact that AD lacks that alpha dog mentality and chose to be LeNomad's sidekick for a crucial stretch of his prime.

Giannis is the better passer and better defender. Plus he's a post move or two away from being the next Karl Malone or Tim Duncan
Lol. Ain't this a hater?

Lmaooooo Milwaukee were essentially a poor man's Golden State last season. I don't know how anyone with working eyes would think Giannis would not fit in with Golden State
The difference is Giannis was the focal point of the attack. And no one said he can't fit with GS. The question is can he be an MVP candidate?

All of a sudden, AD doesn't have an Alpha mentality cos he choose to play with LeBron

But these same set of people will do anything to justify KD's move to the GSW

Abeg abeg abeg. No Bronsexual should come here to lecture me on toxicity when they are the S.I unit of toxic.

It's Bronsexuals that make mock up images of Steph Curry's wife and other rival players. Make crude jokes about another man's wife. It is Bronsexuals that mostly labeled KD a snake.

We had a Bronsexual here who alluded to the GOAT being culpable for his own father's murder. So please my guy save your toxic yarns for Chernobyl

His 2003 run in my eyes was one of the greatest individual playoff runs in post season history. Definitely top 5 considering how atrocious his teammates shot the ball the entire postseason

I don't think anyone has claimed KD had Alpha mentality. Not having Alpha mentality is not a crime last I checked and there have been lots of greats in team Sports who don't have it. AD does not have an Alpha mentality. Call police

Nobody said KD's move to GSW was the most competitive move to make but LeNomad fans after 2010 and the Heatles would be hypocritical to be ok with that move and criticise this one. They both took shortcuts. Simple

Quick question AD or Giannis?

Giannis it is for Me. I rememeber like 3-4 years ago when AD was clearly the better player having this arguement with Friends. I picked Giannis then(everyone said I was Biased because of His Nigerian Heritage and they were probably right grin) and my opinion still hasn't changed. The thing with Adetokunbo is that He is still some way behind His Peers because of Late He picked up the game. He'll only continue to get better.

Btw your MCM is 38% from 3-10ft in the postseason

Giannis will be a Warrior, it might be next year or the year after when the Bucks will lose him for free. But, I do believe Giannis will be a Warrior.

I'll eat my shorts if this ever happens. He might eventually leave the Bucks but no freaking way Is He going to Golden State. If He leaves, He'll follow the Kawhi route of trying to create His own team not join an already established one.

His 2003 Playoff run and Hakeem's run are my two personal Favourites. With Dirk being third.

Hakeem's run would be #1 for me just in sheer degree of the load he carried. Second will be Jordan in 97. Duncan 3rd

I was only trying to correct your statement so you don't give us wrong information like you always do. He's below 40% above 10ft and not 3ft.

And as you can clearly see the man is adjusting his game gradually preparing for father time. He shot over 40% in the last 3 seasons from 10-16ft and almost 45% from 16ft to 3pt line. Whichever way the game changes you know he'll give it to you.

Yeah that was another underrated run. Considering it was just his 3rd season in the league. Probably top 10. He got a little better production from his support cast compared to Hakeem who led his team all 5 statistical categories and then Jordan who led in all 5 from the 2nd series and became the only player to lead a team to a title with only two double digit scorers (him and Pippen)

It's why when someone says Jordan's teams were stacked I legit look at them like they are insane

I don't like when someone is being deliberately obtuse. Why bring 3-10ft nonsense to defend a non existent point. Does the distance end at 10ft? If you add all the 3 segments combined does it disprove my argument? Smh

Of course. Their primary scoring method was through Giannis, the 3 shooters just fed off him. Do you see that being the case with GS?
