Your husband is such a polite gentleman. His kind is rare and he thinks so much about how you'd feel and that's why he won't tell you truth.
That is so wrong of him but Hanty, NwaAmaikpe is here to serve you that long hidden truth.

You are a pathetic cook and he is being too civil to say it. Dude cares so much about it not coming off the wrong way so he'd communicate indirectly and expect an intelligent you to get the subliminal message.

Sadly you don't.

Your colleagues only tolerate your meal because it is free. I don't think they'd eat past a spoon if they were paying for it.
You also don't expect them to criticize it because very few are like us.

I once had a colleague back then who always brought food for me. One day I decided to give it a try.
I tasted the beans and it was like raw carbide mixed with Cameroon pepper.
Anyways, I was courteous enough to tell her to send an assassin instead of trying to kill me with food.

Ewa should be the easiest thing for you to cook....so if he keeps requesting for Iya Basira's ewa, it is so that it can help neutralize the effect of the remaining of your edible poison in the rice and stew.

Please be a virtuous woman.
Be a wife,
And be a mother to that poor man.
It's not fair that you have to send him to Sokoto to get what is in his shokoto.
It's also not fair that you waste his resources to build office relationships.

It is from clapping that the best dances emanate.
Today, you feel obliged to feed your colleagues.
They now eat daily from your cooler. I hope very soon they won't be eating out of your honeypot as well?

Take it easy, 'A problem shared' I've seen a whole lotta post where people post/share their problem to get feedbacks from sane minds, so I've done the same and in one of my replies on here, i said i asked and he said it was only temporary.. so don't be typing behind that cheap infinix/tecno phone tryna make me feel like its a wrong thing to post my issues

Communication is so dead in most relationships these days. You never told us what he said when you registered your displeasure over the issue, meaning out have never talked to him about it, yet you were quick to bring it online for total strangers to help you. Go and talk to your husband and tell him HOW YOU FEEL!!!!!!

If u ever get to read this then I suggest u calm down.. It is not your cooking that is the problem. It is the pot u are using. The pot mama put uses is an iron pot. The smaller one use to cook party jollof or fried rice.. They use the small one for beans. Go and buy that small iron pot.. The pot permit what ever you are cooking to emit a burnt Smokey kind of flavour. If u used it and cook jollof and allow it to burn small, even army will not be able to prevent your neighbours from invading your kitchen. It is irresistible.

What you'll do is anytime you're cooking rice & you know he'll send you to go & buy the beans.cook it seperatly just exactly how the woman's own will look, cos I believe it'll be with red oil.then as he sent you put it in flask or anything you always used to buy it for him, then pretend you're going to buy it,stay out for the time you always take to go there & come back then serve him & see.if he notice its not hers then there's a problem he's under a spell from mortuary water that she's using. Lol. but he doesn't then he's just eaten it cos you don't know how to cook it to his own satisfaction.

see conclusion ooo ur conclusion is based on what aunty? The food is bad and two other ppl eat it at work but to u is bcus is free? Why did u complain whenu ate ur colleague food, why didnt u say bcus it's free food u won't complain.... @poster u just need to narrow it down. Does he eat out before coming home and then refuse to eat ur food, that will only be a clear sign he doesn't like ur food. But if it's just the beans then don't blame the guy, mayb he is someone that doesn't like eating rice without beans and perhaps he doesn't like how u cook URS. Doesn't mean ur cooking is bad. Am a foodie and I can tell there are different taste and feel to every food.. perhaps he has fallen in love with the way that one at that place taste. My advice ppl here can't reli help seat ur husband down and ask him why, don't make it too serious. Conversation is what help relationship...

Nigeria women... Lol... Making a mountain from an ant hill....
Sheby u no go allow that man live em life make the peace in ur marriage continue....

I ve been trying hard to understand what's difficult in getting him what he likes, to make him feel OK.
Simply run comot here buy ewe u r here telling stories and niaraland will fill ur head with plenty that u will want to go and try out 1 or 2 now, and bam! Trouble go busrt and u will come back with another headline...

Madam see eehh! Those lagos road side food sales eeehh, just forget it, u can never replicate that taste u hear? Don't bother trying..
Remember the tastes varies with who and place in the same lagos... So don't just bother and it doesn't in any way invalidate ur cooking skills and ability. But just know is a thing any single man in lagos get used to at one point or the other B4 settling. And to come out is individual dependent.

So if u ask me, I think u r just making issues out of nothing. I read here, some talked about making sacrifices to keep the marriage going.
Ur own sacrifice now will be to take a duty of calling him on the phone any day u have to serve him white rice and stew, to confirm if he'd want his usual. If yes, madam simply buy the ewa on ur way back...
Haba! Is not a big deal biko, don't try to make it a problem since is clear dude finds joy in this.

and please don't try to kill his joy or blackmail him into killing his joy just to please u....

He enjoys ur meals but just this road side ewa sheby?? Madam leave this one for am we all have one thing we pray our wives to free for us so long as its not impinging on their own happiness. And of course this isn't affecting ur happiness, u r only making it seem so.

Me sef never comot from that taste till date, am only enjoying my wives cooking expertise. But trust me, the nearest exposure to road side (rice, beans, spaghetti) in lagos, which isn't common again anyway, I don't miss it ooo despite hw wonderful a cook my wife is.

So understand this and avoid this trouble u ll soon crest for ya sef.

Just free ya sef and let the man feel em self wit em ewa u hear.
