Your husband is such a polite gentleman. His kind is rare and he thinks so much about how you'd feel and that's why he won't tell you truth.
That is so wrong of him but Hanty, NwaAmaikpe is here to serve you that long hidden truth.

You are a pathetic cook and he is being too civil to say it. Dude cares so much about it not coming off the wrong way so he'd communicate indirectly and expect an intelligent you to get the subliminal message.

Sadly you don't.

Your colleagues only tolerate your meal because it is free. I don't think they'd eat past a spoon if they were paying for it.
You also don't expect them to criticize it because very few are like us.

I once had a colleague back then who always brought food for me. One day I decided to give it a try.
I tasted the beans and it was like raw carbide mixed with Cameroon pepper.
Anyways, I was courteous enough to tell her to send an assassin instead of trying to kill me with food.

Ewa should be the easiest thing for you to cook....so if he keeps requesting for Iya Basira's ewa, it is so that it can help neutralize the effect of the remaining of your edible poison in the rice and stew.

Please be a virtuous woman.
Be a wife,
And be a mother to that poor man.
It's not fair that you have to send him to Sokoto to get what is in his shokoto.
It's also not fair that you waste his resources to build office relationships.

It is from clapping that the best dances emanate.
Today, you feel obliged to feed your colleagues.
They now eat daily from your cooler. I hope very soon they won't be eating out of your honeypot as well?

"It is from help me hold my gown, help me hold my gown that Azuka found out the colour of his landlady's pant".

Is your husband an engineer or he graduated from any university of technology ? If so, you have a long rope to pull
Is the beans ewa agoin?
Abeg, try watch closely how the mamaput does her cooking.
You can buy samples and try to cook that same way, you sound intelligent and I'm sure u will get it after two attempts

Abeg my dear, do not take NwaAmaapku or whatever seriously. You know his antics. grin cheesy

There are men married to ladies pretty like models and still go to rough parts of town to patronise dirty hookers.

Often old habits are hard to give up. If he was a long term bachelor before marriage or from a very modest background, ewa probably "saved" his life at some point.

I do not see much problem with eating ewa, except having to buy from the roadside. You don't want him getting food poising after eating your food mixed with street food. In-laws can be very difficult God forbid.

You have to be very firm in asking why the need for street ewa all the time. Or find out from a close relative of his "codedly".

Sweettwenty8 honestly your husband is just facing marriage blues
D kind that comes now that the full realization of the fact that the rest of his life will be with u for ever
It's not a bad thing but this is his way of controlling what ever he is trying to control so he can better adjust to the reality of being in a marriage commitment for ever
He has simply attached himself to something that gives him a feeling of comfort
The ewa is comfort food
He is just adjusting
A year's marriage right?
Hopefully he's not going through mid life crisis but if he is he is eating at it which is better, honestly it's better.

Sweettwenty8 ,if anything like poisoning or remotely resembling suspected deaths should happen to those colleagues you feed everyday ...do you know who will be the first suspect ? Yes, you!
Pls use your tongue to count your teeth. Wisdom is profitable to direct. They will say you had been planning this since, that is why you got them to trust you with everyday food. You can share your food once in a while with them but not everyday ooo. It's when push comes to shove that you will know people don't smile with suspected murderers in Naija.

Maybe he likes that particular ewa, that's not a problem, with time he will stop, maybe you should try and see which type of Ewa he normally eat whether the Ewa with stew or with palm oil and cook it for him, I guess he will stop eating the one outside.

I totally disagree. The man was once a street boy now Porsche.

Whenever he request you prepare a meal, just beg him to use the favorite mama put instead of you wasting your energy, that way you will judge yourself if your meal quite taste well. If he gets furious, know your cook taste good, if he feels happy my sister please begin a cooking lecture or catering classes.

I know you don't like the fact that he always send you to buy what another woman prepares when your own in the kitchen but just relax. With time he will stop it.

Since he does the same thing at the office, it shows he loves beans a lot.

A lot of guys prefer the road side mama put EWA, I think it's a normal thing.

With all respect and humility, wake him up in the middle of the night and demand to have a discussion with him.
Once he's awake, go on your knees and tell him that something has been making you cry inner for sometimes and you want him to wipe away your tears.
Now tell him your displeasure about his xter of buying Ewa from Mama Put.
But you have to be modest about it.
Best of luck.

Why adjudge her unvirtuous because her husband likes to eat Ewa from outside.
Oga I thought u had much sense than what you have displayed here today. So sad.

OP, all u need to loosen have a talk with him. Find out what he likes in the ewa. Truth is am not sure u would cook it d way whomever he likes u to buy from does because it's constantly on the fire and potty like.

Stupid, uneducated myopic thinking !!!!

And stupid, uneducated myopic thinkers gave him over 1k likes...geez

I’m sure this person is a wife/husband beater

===============================

Madam, it has nothing to do with your cooking. I myself have that “habit”

There’s this woman that sells afang in my area and when they cook a new soup, no matter who cooks; my mother, sister, girlfriend, I’ll go there to buy the woman’s afang and mix with food at home.

The women in my life are exceptional cooks but when I crave that afang, no jupiter will stop me from getting it. It’s sort of a sweet tooth, I love afang and the way she cooks it is unique, I have never tasted one elsewhere that’s better.

It’s probably the way the woman cooks the ewa or he does it as good will because she probably sold food on credit when he was still a hustling boy.

Your office colleagues eat your food because it’s good! N O T because it’s free. If it was bad, they would have stopped eating it like you said and trust me, if it was bad, office gossip would have carried it by now. Besides what would it cost good salary earners to spend money to buy good lunch if they decided to stop eating your food.

If it was the lady doing that, all hell won't break loose. You think women too, don't have their idiosyncrasies that men manage. If, of all the problems in your home, you choose to focus on your husband's addiction to mamaput Ewa, then be prepared to end the marriage anytime soon

It's something to worry about because it's annoying that my food is constantly shenked for mama put. It's not only cheating that causes issues in marriage. There should be a limit to everything. And he should be able to put his cravings under control and discipline his body jare. Once in a while, I do mama put too not like this one

Read up her story again. He doesn't eat out. It's only when rice is cooked, he buys mamaput ewa. In fact, she says sometimes he tells her not to bother with cooking, he will cook himself and ask that she buys the ewa and come along. It just like always wanting to eat rice and stew with bananas. She should let the poor man enjoy what makes him happy abeg
