Please why is it so difficult and hard to respect women for their hard work?
Why must you look down on successful, hardworking and struggling women as "Ashawo"?
Must you term every achievement a woman has, as Ashawo? If the name Ashawo can achieve all of the list above its better to be called Ashawo and be successful than being a saint and depending on a man for every damn thing.
Who says a woman cannot build a house, own a company?
We should learn to appreciate our hardworking women and stop tagging everything they achieve as Ashawo.

God bless every hardworking woman out there.

Chewing gum Boys hate to see women who can stand on their 2 feet. They will ask her to stop working and if she says No they will say she is too stubborn. They don't want a woman that can buy anything for herself without their express permission or contribution. 80% of men in naija are chewing gum Boys.

Same chewing gum guys will still call women lazy if for any reason she loses her job, especially after marriage.

How can we please them for crying out loud?

That the men should try and respect hardworking women.

Not every successful woman is an Olosho, as majority believe now.

When ever I see comments saying women are complex beings I laugh because men are worst, they don't even know what they want. They would complain if a woman isn't working and complain if she is, complain about her dressing and complain if she decides not to dress up again, they say men are polygamous in nature we agree who are they being polygamous with women right? So why are you angry when other men are being polygamous with your wives and girlfriends do you want them to disobey nature?

Women live your lives and stop letting this men living their's try to control you.

These people are twisting things. grin Anyway, what can be expected from women and beta boys?

> A nollywood actress has no source of income and has only starred in five Yoruba movies but somehow she has a mansion and a Benz.
> A lady is eighteen with no source of income and she has her own house and Benz and she says "god is the key".
> A lady has no source of income and no wealthy relatives or friends but she is going to and fro from Nigeria to Dubai like the way FC Barcelona players are passing the ball among themselves. All this lady has are raunchy and sexy photos of herself on social media and even sometimes doing nasty things on social media.

I could go on and on. Stop acting like men call all ladies with material goodies oloshos. Have you ever wondered why we men can never call women like Chimamanda Adichie, Genevieve Nnani, and Co olosho? It's because we know they are made women and for them, it's not by d!ck. Beside, it's not just scrupulous women who take the heat. When a man with no source of income is suddenly acquiring mansions and fleets of cars, we men will raise eyebrows?

For those sluts/sperm toilets on nairaland that will jump on this topic to placate their guilty conscience, all I have to say is

Don't mind them, jare. What about the bankers, doctors, entrepreneurs, to mention but a few.

E dey pepper some of them to see women succeed or excel in her chosen career. If she is promoted, she must have slept with her superior. And if her business strives because of her handwork, there must be one Politician or Alhaji behind her success.

They should take it easy with how they accuse women unnecessarily, abeg.
