The agbo jedi was not packaged, and the bitter kola was inside nylon

Your country too 'hilly'

We came to our place of abode around 11:30am.
Dropped our bags then started from Wakefield to Countdown, bought few items, (cos I prefer to cook than eating other country's food) then went to Thewarehouse for select items. That was when trouble started. We had to go up hill back to our apartment. Wow, the topography here is something else.

Kilodè? shocked

Kaábo o!!!It is very hilly indeed! This is the first place I have lived in and not cycled everywhere! I can't come and go and kee myself in the name of keeping fit! I even took the children's scooters away and gave it out. I just keep having visions of peeled skin and scalp everywhere!

Other parts of NZ are quite flat though. Auckland is built on about 24/25/26 volcanoes.

About the volcanoes, you 100% spot on.

A kiwi told us to take a boat ride to Davenport and see Volcanoes that erupted years again.

We doing the Hop off and Hop On and free Ferry Ride to Davenport on Thursday to explore the City.

Kudos to the people that developed Auckland city. They did a very good job. The drainage system was well done. It's been raining since we came and we can't find flooding anywhere near.

Where's Bros Femijck and Ugsam.

We are in town and we no see them.

I am catching cold and they've not organized for the boys. (Thank God my wife is not on Nairaland, so I'm covered) grin

They did free wine testing today at the conference. Some of your best wine companies came a d told us we must finish all the bottles. As I counted, those bottles go reach 1 truck full of different wines from different producers. Unfortunately for me, I don't take anything alcohol, no matter how reduced the % is cry

Alleged discrepancies of Identity

I need help on my NZ study visa application
I submitted a second application for study visa about 2 weeks ago. My case officer sent a letter alleging discrepancies in my identity.
My birth certificate reads Omolade Adetola Babatunde + surname
My national population Commission attestation of birth reads Adetola Babatunde + surname
All my documents and my international passport reads Adetola Babatunde + surname.

To address the issue, I wrote a letter to my case officer and Immigration NZ stating that Omolade Adetola Babatunde and Adetola Babatunde is the same person. I proceeded to the court to swear an affidavit to support my claim.
In the letter sent to me by the case officer, s/he said that affidavit from me is not a verifiable evidence. Said I should provide a verifiable evidence to support my claim. According to him/her, a verifiable evidence is a document that can be verified independently by a third party.
My people, what type of document could that be and how can I get it? I really need your advise on this.
Thank you.

Nobody knows how much is enough when applying for a tourist visa but I believe there’s an amount required for your living expenses stated on the immigration website.
However, the answer will depend on how much socio-economy ties to your homeland you have provided.....but if you’re not in a hurry, why not try build it up to around 3M+ or 4M+.
Because if you’re applying for a 2 weeks or 3 weeks tourist visa, then it means you are directly or indirectly telling immigration that you are going to exhaust your account balance on that trip.

Thank you
My socio-economy tie is good and my tourist visa is based on invitation from my NZ partner and in the paperwork that she sent to support my application, she stated that my stay will be at her place and she will be my first hand tour guide.
The statement of account is to show that I have more than enough money for my flight tickets back to Nigeria.

I submitted my application on Friday because my proposed visit dates (December/January) is fixed due to the holiday time of my partner.

Dear XXXXXXXX
We have received your Visitor visa application. Your application number is XXXXXXXX.
An Immigration officer will assess your application. Your application may be assessed at any Immigration New Zealand office across the world.
This is an automated email. If you have already received a message about this application, please follow the advice in that message. Otherwise we will contact you if you need to do anything.

Please send us your passport

We need to see your passport to confirm your identity. Outside New Zealand we use Visa Application Centres (VACs) to receive passports. Use our website tool to find out where to submit your passport and any applicable service fees. Please print this letter and send it in with your passport and contact details.

Bros my question now is should I go ahead and mail my international pp to Pretoria or wait for INZ case Officer to attend to me first ?
Thanks in advance

Sending pp is simply for identity verification.

Except you qualify for a tourist visa on your own right, her invitation does not give you any advantage. Your best bet is for her to visit u or u both meet somewhere for holiday. Then she can sponsor you. But for now, to the immigration, you’re are still 2 strangers.
Your relationship may be genuine but not until you’ve met in person before she can sponsor u........ this may not be what u wanna hear but unfortunately, that’s how it works.

But u can only try.....
Yes you have to send your pp if not it may not be processed.

Don't contact any agent.

I just returned from New Zealand less than 48hours ago.

All the help I needed was gotten on this thread.

The person you are contacting will only tell you what we have stated on this thread and ask you to pay money for consultation.

NZL visa is very very difficult to obtain. 15 of us genuinely applied, only 6 were given.

davodyguy I apologize for my long absence from the thread and not being able to be useful to you but I believe femijck would've done his best to provide you with adequate information. It has been quite busy for me since August, couple with some health challenges. I was mostly on vacation overseas and in New Zealand which I couldn't even enjoy. At the moment I've just arrived Naija and will be here for a while. Anytime I'm able to contribute to anything I'll still come around to do so.
