Your description does not match the reported problem. That isn't a faulty mouthpiece going by your description. I'd suggest you take it to Carlcare if you're still covered by their warranty.

That's a very poor UI implementation,

Being able to block unwanted Apps from accessing your data is a given in other brands I've used..

How can you be playing a game and before you know it 30Mb of your data is gone,with you not being able to anything about it?

Follow the below steps carefully

1. Go to phone dialer app

2. Dial *#*#3646633#*#*

3. Swipe from right to left twice

4. Click on audio

5. Select Volume

6. Select Voice

7. Looking down you'll see a value written 152
Change it to 160

8. Click SET

I don't think he meant that the volume of the tiny speaker (earpiece) is too low to be heard. Looks like he could not hear sound from it at all which means his problem soln isn't the stated tweak.
