Yep 90 days. When you come you will visit GNIB and extend it.

But the problem is that GNIB will request insurance and a letter from your school (I think).

I think you should send ICAS a PM. She's an expert. Let her weigh the options with you.

Hello Breezy147,

OK.

ICaSNg commented on my post and suggested I could change course within that school . I would discuss this option with the school when I arrive Ireland.

Thanks for your contribution and suggestion.

Regards,

Louis

It's a game of luck you wanna play going to another school, you have to get another admission from the school and apply for another visa as you cannot use the visa of one school apply for the other. Your best is if you get to the school, let them know you are ready to defer till December 2020 but they should do your gnib for you to get your stamp 2 then you can use that to work till next year gather some money and start school next September or you c o nvonce them that you can cope with the study and accept any responsibility of what ever happen with your result. I think they shid be able to grant you letter to apply for your stamp two when you get in, if not you go go back naija within three mo ths of your arrival.

Hello Abuhusna1,

Yes, I will travel to the school as it is better to discuss in person than exchanging emails in situations like this. If they are willing to accept me this session for same course, I don't mind signing an undertaking ,taking full responsibility of my decision.

My concern now is going through the officer at the airport in Dublin without any issue.

Thank you for your advise and suggestion.

Regards,

Louis

You will honestly not have any issue with immigration cos all they will ask you is your admission letter and check your visa. If they ask about your lateness tell them jokingly they delayed you by issuing your visa late. U will see lots of students still coming over but move ASAP this week

I am currently in Ireland. The immigration officer didn't asked why I am resuming late, I was only asked if I have any documents to show, and I brought out copy of my tuition fees receipt, offer letter and 1 year medical insurance.

Please, is there anyone on this platform in Waterford? Kindly send me a message . I am looking for a temporary accommodation pending when I get myself sorted. We can split the bill's accordingly. I am in a hotel now, but would move out immediately I get a cheaper alternative.

Thanks.

Louis
