For the record... i will be happy to see IVM in every home in Nigeria... but with the right price that discourage us from importing other cars.

Truth but they really need to work on their pricing. I don't think any body will carry his 25million go buy that car, when there are better value for money. I guess dey havent heard of price penetration before.
For those of u shouting that we criticizing innoson, how many of u will carry 25m buy dat car wen dere is oda product like range, benz etc for same price. The company did not even consider d Nigerian market. I will actually prefer dey create affordable cars at lower prices so they can flood Nigeria. If they continue like dis dey re going nowhere. And im sure dey re only doing this to force d govt to buy dere cars all in d name of supporting home product.

Keep doing what you are doing, we are solidly behind you. A lot of those trying to demarket Innoson will not hesitate to send their relations who just graduated to be employed in Innoson factory.

It was the same way they tried to curtail the rise of the East after the war by labelling products from that region as ABA and Igbo Made and discouraged Nigerians from patronizing them in favour of fake products from then rising Taiwan.

The ABA made products found favour in neighbouring francophone countries like Cameroon, Guinea, Gabon etc

The problem with many Nigerians is just sheer ignorance [tinctured with some insecureness-induced 'pull him level']. When the nation of India was using its Fiat-licensed-India-built Padmini in all levels of its social life, they 'rocked' it with pride till the 2014s. Today, the same India builds aeroplanes and other complex machinery. Infact, India owns the company that churns out the prestigious Land Rover/Range Rover series of vehicles. The same illumination that kept the Indian people sticking to their Bandhgala jackets and Dastar turbans in favour of any thing British or American-- as Nigerians have even gone to the extent of 'informalizing' [just way short of demonising] our native wears --even though the British spent more time in India.

Majority of the folks that have been talking down on INNOSON would have had no qualms if the winner had been gifted with a Mercedes or even a Hyundai [however inflated the price is]; a classic case of self-hate.

This sick mentality will take us no where! It is the reason why we have not made any headway, but we have stupidly stuck to it.
