If Innosson thinks the price is modest, then that means most of the parts are Imported.

The price of a brand-new Lexus Jeep is far cheaper in Japan than in Nigeria because is it is truly made from the scratch in Japan.

But, if Innosson sources his raw materials here, sources his expertise here, then that means nigga is damn greedy.

On a conclusive note going by that price, I think Innoson is an imported brand.

There r cars below 1mil, he should concentrate on mass sales instead of making SUV's, will u buy ivm worth 25 million when u can get other trusted brands for the same price?

Have you tried manufacturing any engineering component in Nigeria and seen how expensive it is? Poor Electricity, no gas network, bad roads, no fast shipping, no rail roads, multiple taxation, government agency extortion, no incentive for innovation etc etc etc...Add these up and you'll see that it's cheaper to import. That's why this is an import based economy.

You need to study more about these things first!

The simple reason innoson aiint flying like it suppose to is simple: Nigeria has no identity which stems from our disunity as a people. We see ourselves independently as units rather than a cohesive,undivided entity. A country Strongly divided on ethno-religious grounds will never make progress. If that vehicle was produced by Dangote ,we all know what the atmosphere would be like( mind u I aiint biafran). The products would have gathered widespread attention, FG bans importantion and car smuggling etc. We know the truth but we no go gree talk am.
Albeit , having said all that Mr innoson himself has submitted that Rome wasn't built in a day. He shouldnt have made that remark anyways cos he has only succeeded in telling the world that indeed his vehicles are below par and way overpriced. Patriotically speaking, its a good move to have indigenous technologies plying our markets and roads but there should be parity between quality and price. Personally, I feel the SUV mercy won wasnt worth the price.
I am not an expert as to how/ why a certain commodity should cost a certain price. However, if our irresponsible Govt had truly cared for this nation, they would have helped a "struggling" or somewhat not so" overtly ingenious" innoson company grow to a level where it would become a national brand. Partner with him and own some shares in his company since the government has failed in creating a national vehicle/ car company brand, expand, bring highly rated and modern technologies to the fore, industrialize further,make sure that our senators only use innoson brand ,close borders to importation and smuggling,Nigerian cars would be exported to neighbouring Afican countries. It would create more jobs,better the standard of living and the Naira would appreciate further in value. Not just this sector. All others also. A rightly thinking government should know that they cant make jobs rather make the playing field condusive.If all these could be done who are the masses not to follow suit. There are several middle class companies all trying to survive. Buy and merge them together while still retaining some aspect of private ownership just to oversee their activities. Must the govt start from scratch? Who in his right thinking mind goes around to share stipends known as trader mini ?? This country don finish I swear.
But trust the leaders of this country,esplly the Northern part( I am not been tribal here but this is the absolute truth ) who want everything for/ to themselves alone most especially power to rule.

How many igbo people drive innoson cars with all the noise they are making. A yoruba king bought innoson suv and drives it regularly. How many of your igwes drive innoson. The federal govt has been patronising IVM but how many of your governors are using IVM. the only thing ya'll are eager to do is go tribal and chest beat.

Why didnt BBN give her the G wagon lookalike innoson? Abi you think if mercy or anybody had a choice to pick between the G wagon innoson and the particular mercy won, you think they won't go for the G wagon? Have you had anybody call the IVM g wagon , buses, pick up cars ugly? But they call the suv mercy won ugly and ya'll turn it into tribal crap. Is the particular car not ugly? Are some toyota, Honda, gac, kia brands not ugly.
