Please where you able to find a way around this? I have a similar situation but this time the wife is the primary applicant. CC: justwise

Hi all, I have searched everywhere on nairaland for this but could'nt find anything useful. I am about to apply for tier2 UK visa and tier 2 dependent visa for my wife and child. I however have another child born out of wedlock who is now 6years old and I intend to bring him to the UK too.

People tell me it is not likely to be approved because his case is more complicated. His name appears on my marriage certificate (single with a child) and my name is also on his birth certificate. His mother is willing to provide every necessary document and is in full support of this.

Could you please advice me on what to do, documents to provide and how I can proceed with this? Thank you.

With this legitimacy, comes taxation and availability to limited liability benefits etc etc .......

Shops on the high street or trading from home? Remember, even amazon has no physical shops and only pay taxation, the tax bills allows them and still collect money back from the government.........

Your expected turnover, should determine your path........

Trading from home oh! Sigh. I fully understand what you mean by taxes & expected turnover etc.. but im worried that for the kind of shots I want to shoot, folks won’t take me seriously without a semblance (at least) of business setup.

Let me keep thinking about it. Thank you.

Have you squeezed the last juice out of SM marketing & presence awareness?

The beauty about opening a limited liability setup, if you don't like what you see........ Close accounts and shut it down........

Use theory test pro for the theory tests (it's basically expo)

Watch YouTube videos for show me tell me questions.
Watch YouTube videos for driving mock test to see common mistakes and understand how the grading works ( dgn driving YT)
Watch YouTube to see how specific driving stuff are meant to be done, eg spiral roundabout, counter flow traffic etc (Ashley Neal YT)

Follow all advice given by driving instructor. Do 1-2 hrs a week for a month and you are good to go.

Watch a lot of YouTube

Thanks so much bro. I will work on your advice.
Though I am trying my best but the confidence to write the test is absolutely zero and I am scared of failing

I bought the theory training book, but for 3 years I kept procrastinating. I'd study for 1 day, and abandon it for 3-6 months, and repeat.
Eventually, I vexed and just paid for a theory test date, believing it would ginger me to focus and study. LOL!! I still kept ignoring it.
Eventually, I took a day of work the day before the test, and did most of the studying. I also did some tense pressured reading the morning of the test.

I still passed the test on first try. So relieved! grin

I think you should take a leap of faith and just book a date for the test, and then you'll have to study for it. I think one week is enough to study for it, combined with your normal student classes.

Using youtube videos is also a great idea for the practicals

God Bless you for always helping with feedback.

Hello

Has anyone here applied for a tier 2 dependent child visa for a child whose one of the parents is not being granted entry clearance under the point base system, because they are separated? Kindly share your experience and how you went about it.

You can start as a sole trader, all you will have to do is your tax returns.

If you open a company, you will have to register it, do your company tax returns, do your annual returns (called Confirmation Statement now) and still do your personal tax return as a director.

As a sole trader you will pay only your personal tax and VAT (depending on your turnover)

As a company, you will pay company tax (corporation tax), VAT(depending on your turnover), filling fee ( annual return), then your personal tax. There may be other costs like accounting and professional fees. (PAYE, penson costs, employers NI- only if you empoly staff) etc

You have got to weigh the pros and cons and make up your mind. My personal opinion is that you start as an individual and see how the business grows before setting up a company. The admin work involved in a company is more.

With the level Monzo has gone, traditional banks are finding it hard to keep up.

I will give you person guarantee that you will pass.

If you use the theory test pro to practice for at least 30min a day for one week. Just keep doing the mock test over and over including the hazard perception. And if you do that a week to your test and are not happy with the results I will repay you the money for the app and the test.

PS: I have no relationship with the app developer, it's just that good.

Yes, Procastination also contributed to the driving problem. I am hoping to book the test for early December so as to have fun at xmas and tour many places.

I have paid and downloaded the theory pro application since june this year but didn't practice more than the first hazard. I was targeting september before school resumption but couldn't meet up.
Early December is my next target now and I will let you know the outcome.
