I have a similar experience. I sometimes treat typhoid twice a month. I have tried herbs, antibiotics and occasionally take drips at a Clinic (what someone referred to as flushing).
My advice, just like some people have rightly said, is that your manager eats well, lots of vegetables, fruits and water.
Secondly he should always be mindful of the level of his immunity. Sex is a major factor. He may have noticed that the symptoms of typhoid returns after consecutive sexual activities. He should be more mindful of such draining activities that trigger the manifestation of typhoid. Too much antibiotics is not good.
I wish him well.

So I learnt. It's become endemic in the southern part of the country but many don't seem to take it seriously untill it gets spread across other parts of Nigeria. Our government is so slow to act. Many may even have thyphoid fever but would think it's just malaria. I think diagnostic test is vital these days...how did I know? The day he came back to the clinic which our company uses, he said the doctor told him he has seen more number of patients with similar case that day alone, more that he usually sees.
I suspect he is always eating or drinking something that is infecting him, maybe. He should start drinking only bottle water and avoid soaking Garri expecially with tap water.

He keeps reinfecting himself after each treatment. He should get original hand sanitizer after his next treatment and make sure he sanitizes his hand every time he urinates to avoid contact again.
That’s the trick of getting rid of typhoid.

this fake drugs of a thing is now becoming so serious. My mum was down like 2 weeks ago, she started treating typhoid and malaria, normally, but she was still sick, only for me to finally take her to see her personal doctor and the man saw the fake malaria drug lonart Ds and almost fainted. Gave my mum another drug immediately the next day she was fit. I don't know what this our government is doing anymore.

Since Dora died... That was the end. 90% of drugs we take today are made in Onitsha. I only wished they are genuinely made in onitsha, it would had still served but No, one idiot needs fast money

Suggested Solution

I have a similar problem which I am still battling with and I pray God will lead me through.
The drugs are working but your friend is going back to his vomit.

If your friend is married (faithful to his wife oo without away match):
Let him do the treatment again, and have raw/naked s*x with his wife. He will discover the symptoms will come back within 24-48 hours after the sex.

Let him do the treatment again, and have protected sex with his wife using condom, no sucking of breast, no kissing and he should let his wife suck the microphone and your friend should not leak the pot as well. He will discover he will be very very healthy even after 48 hours

Let his wife run an std test and clear the mess in her system. (Even she may know she has std but keep using local drugs to suppress it.)

If you are not married (Praise God!):
Play it the way I explained the wifey own.
If you have a single lady you are into and you discovered she is the one infecting you, please Japa!!! if not she will destroy your life with this infection (please forget love oooo).
But if he has multiple partner and he has time to research, let him play it same way.

I took time to research this.
I sent my wife on vacation for 50 days and I discovered I am healthy without sickness after the treatment.
When she came back, I oil the ring naked and I became infected again.
I treated myself again.
We both went to the hospital for test and I came out negative, but she has heavy growth of clepselia and others.
Time to start treatment, wife don get bele (pregnant) due to the last oil I put in the ring.
We cannot do any permanent treatment for now until delivery and some months.

Just try my suggested solution.

If you may ask how I discovered this:
A foreign (USA) doctor I consulted told me this oo.
Doctors here are telling me my problem is psychological.

Isn't it obvious that his immune system is weak? The antibiotics are much and the hospital should be sued.
By the way, where does he eat? This is extremely important. He should learn to boil his drinking water and cook his own food. He should also take immune boosters as well as eating lots of fruit and vegetables.

Hello nairalanders. I have this colleague who was always sleeping in the office around july. He often complained of muscle and joint pain with dizziness and pain in his eyes and both sides of his head. Sometimes, he would be complaining of slight headache and abdominal pain.

I asked that some test be run by him, including an XYZ just to be sure. He did all that and all was negative except typhoid which was inherent in the diagnostic report with negligible malaria. He was placed on a broad spectrum ciprofloxacin. He was feeling relieved after which the symptoms came back.

He went back to the clinic and was placed on Zinax, a higher antibiotics. 2 weeks later, the symptoms came back again and this time, the dr asked him to repeat the test and still repeat the XYZ. As usual all came out negative except thyphoid. This time, he was placed on augmentine. In short, he completed the recommended dose barely 2 weeks ago and symptoms have returned as I speak . Yesterday, I asked that the test be repeated for the 3rd time same as usual. Please medics, pharms and traditional medics in the house, what drug can he use to get rid of this stubborn bacteria?
the best treatment for typhoid is chlorophenicol. No amount of other antibiotics you take can cure it. My cousin is a certified nurse who treats such. Send me a dm in you are in Lagos

He has accumulated typhoid in his system, it needs to be flushed out through anti biotic fluid drip like, flagly and the rest

He needs to be off work for that to be done

What kind of typhoid test did they carry out? The best is the stool M/C/S. Where his stool sample is analysed physically and under a microscope, cultured and identified and a sensitivity test is carried out on the organism to know which one it is sensitive to and to what degree. A particular person may be resistant to ciprofloxacin but sensitive to ampiclox, so even if he drinks a gallon of xiprotab, it won't even do anything. Advice him to go for stool MCS cos all these agbo might end up destroying his liver.

Tell him to fortify his immune system. Of course,he should treat it now with ,perhaps, antibiotics like Amoxil etc. But after,he has to tinker with his nutrition, bring in supplements that will help build an impregnable immune system that can't be breached by some opportunist diseases, typhoid or whatever it calls itself, no less.
I didn't have it for about 22 yrs until I started working in the field and eating whatever went.

Well, I'm not a medical expert buh maybe he's taking fake or expired drugs. He probably should visit another hospital for a comprehensive test. I just hope it's not organ issue.

Hate hospitals and doctors. cry

I've had the same symptoms for a while...your friend should test for H-Pylori it's a bacteria from the stomach that has passed into the blood stream. Symptoms include ulcer, recurring typhoid and malaria, headaches, unexplained weakness, bloating. The test costs 4k @ juli pharmacy. It's actually quite rampant and so many doctors don't even know. The drug is called elicorid sells for 9100 to be used for 4-6 weeks.
