I guess you have issues with your biological parents.

I even thought you meant out of wedlock pregnancies, then I noticed you specified wife.

I usually suspect that gynocentrism will get stronger, more brutal, and more oppressive due to the rising number of weak men and fathers with each passing generation. Sometimes I wonder if Ubunja, iLegend, and other red pill men are wasting their time fanning out red pill messages but when I remember that I was able to save one from a toxic girlfriend, I keep hope alive. It's depressing.

Me too I was able to save one too. In fact he's enjoying life now.
I was also saved from a testimony of one of the benefactors of the miseducation from ubunja. Through his post I searched for Ubunja and followed him with every topic relating to what I was going through. Jesus didn't stop preaching even when he was not sure he was delivering the people he wanted. So I'd say we are not stopping.

It's not about being prominent or just rich.. being manly is now considered outdated and not cool.. the man is gradually taken a back seat in the society and allowing most feministic employs like sensitivity, and emotional ploys lyk guilt trap and mind games to run amok these days.. men need to take pride in their masculinity and retake the leadership mantle in the society - the chauvinism

True. All these women proclaiming this shit. By the time a man proposes to them and they bring up such shit and the guys bounce they will know what's up and eventually eat their vomit. It's weak men that gives these stupid women the impetus to dish out shi.t
Left for me if can't take my name and my kids take my name back off. These are things that ought to be discussed whilst dating. But hey all men wanted is pussy. And would do anything to get them.

I have a friend who drives taxi on hired purchase, this guy all boasting of how many women he slept with and is still sleeping with. It never occurred to me that this guy has been spending and spending to the point he couldn't make payments to complete the car purchase and the car was taken from him after making a payment of 1m plus on the car. But he sees himself as a king but he is weak. And this kind of guy would actually accept this condition.

This true story goes to show how weak men are.

Patriarchy is a scam. Every rule given is done by men to fan their egos, in some parts of Ghana people answer their mothers surnames, even among the Ijaws and Efiks they operate their culture based on matriarchy. Don't conclude that all parts of Nigeria is patriarchal, it's a big lie

So. A few places are different, then it is the norm now?

Makes no sense.... at least until we women rewrite the bible angry

It's been rewritten. There's a Bible for Women or something like that. A Christian wrote it.

And what does the Bible have to do with this making sense or not?

See reasoning, those few places I mentioned did it kill the kids or are they recording more marriage failures than those under patriarchal system? let me make my point clear to you as it seems you don't understand me, whether a child answers his/her mother's or father's surname doesn't affect his wellbeing, it's simply used to boost the ego of the spouse with an upper hand due to culture.
Pablo Picasso took on his mother's maiden surname, it didn't affect his progress in life negatively. All laws made are based on ego, that's my initial point.

All laws made aren't based on ego.

And my response was to you saying patriarchy is a scam. Unless I got you wrong, I took that to mean you saying patriarchy is not a thing.

In the comments there is a strong backlash, citing the husband's payment of the bride price, and ownership of his kids.

With the echoes of slaves being bought and sold as chattel, and shipped from Nigeria's shores, will anyone step back, really step back, and reflect on the irony of defending bride purchase and ownership of children, today?

Waiting for the storm....
Unwilling slaves being sold and beaming and willing brides being bought, is a whole world apart. You are not worth the storm
