I have always told men to stop supporting feminists or being soft on women. Women don't want equality, they detest men and really want to have it all even at the expense of men. What you see here is how all the schemes that led to a gynocentric society started. It started as a simple suggestion (which had selfish ulterior motives and the need control and extract to the utmost from men) , "don't you think men should pay alimony and support?", "don't you think no-fault divorce should be a thing? The woman should be able to leave when she wants", "women are more compassionate and caring", "motherhood is the hardest job in the world", "men should be the one to provide", "a woman should get half of the asset during divorce and automatic custody blah blah blah", etc. Before you know what is happening, laws that decree all children must bear their mothers name would be passed.

Depending on the situation I'm not against the lady keeping her father's name and the children adopting a different name from mine....for example the queen of England doesn't carry her husband name....and the kids though are from the husbands house carried a different surname in terms of title...and when they were old enough to take charge of their own houses their surnames changed again according to their titles....but like I said it all depends on the situation.
