So, I was scrolling on Twitter just now and came across (I suppose someone from here) pushing the hashtag #NNPCRecruitment on there, and the person got this response.

I am shook - the other time, I posted here that my Uncle called me from Abuja and said people are already getting their appointments - and some people nearly cursed me out here. They forget I'm hopeful too, and I invested too much into this recruitment for it to end in this manner that is being revealed.

Deep down, I still don't want to believe it. APL will be out generally in due time.

This court case has been postponed twice for reasons best known to the parties involved. If we get to February, it is also very likely that it will be postponed again to june 2020 and postponed again and again. So we continue to wait?

Why did the IGP order the release of successful candidates despite the court order in the police recruitment. It simply shows that maintaining status quo does not hinder the process. It means let things continue the way they have been.

Edited: Now that we are getting strong evidence that some people have already gotten apl, why didn't the court case prevent them from getting it?

If the GMD wants that list to be released today, that irrelevant court case cannot stop it. There is a missing link in the delay that we are yet to find out.

The missing link might just be the wait for passage of 2020 budget tho....it was supposed to be done last week but it has been shifted twice now ...

nah its a suggestion .... tho when budget is passed these things start to flow...i believe they had already encroached into some of the money assigned for this recruitment this year tho.....its more like a formality tho (the waiting for budget passage)....Nigeria is shifting from the march-april budget cycle it used to use to January -december cycle..so once they finalise they should pass it.....i want to believe that things like salaries of new intakes are included in the current budget..if its not passed how do they expect to pay them......i might be wrong tho...what do know i sef... .
