@Omabetter,

The occupation you nominate will determine the body to conduct your assessment with.

Thanks for your response Mr Bellong. What I mean is that should I consider ICT support Engineer or Telecommunication Network Engineer based on my situation?

You will make this decision yourself. However, based on the limited information you provided, you have no experience in any of the two. You should assess in an occupation you have experience to increase your points.

ICT support Officer is different from ICT support engineer.

Hi Bellong,
I would like your advise on my application, i have got a positive outcome on my vetassess application on ANZSCO 232214, I wrote my IELTS (Academic) over a year ago with scores L: 9, R: 8.5, W:8, S:7. I'm about 37 years of age and married. Do you think i should apply to visa class 491 or just go ahead with a visa 189 application. My job other spatial scientist does not seem to have much opportunities in the regions (i stand to be corrected).
Re: DIY Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa - Part 2 by Mcslize: 9:32am On Nov 29, 2019
ShaiX2, you don't need to put all your eggs in one basket. They don't charge creating expression of interest. Simply express your interest for the 3 visa types. Anyone that gives you invitation early, you go with that. You know you must receive ITA before applying for the visa. You can't just apply for the visa straight up without invitation.

Tasmania is nominating your occupation for 190 and 491 while victoria is nominating your occupation for 491 only. Check the criteria and simply create expression of interests for the 3 visa types 189, 190 and 491. Anyone that give u ITA early, you simply go with that to apply for your visa.

Note: your score will be low for 189. 190 and 491 will give you the highest scores.

Depends on the visa you are traveling on. For permanent resident visa, finger print is not required but temporary visa longer than 3 months requires a finger print.

D person said when d person gets to d point of entry he will do it there

If Tax and Pension weren't deducted by the company, then you need not worry about that.

Get a reference letter and Paystubs to validate your employment

Get a statutory declaration to prove that your salary was paid in cash, have it signed by your MD or CEO and notarized by certified NBA lawyer.

They just want you to prove beyond reasonable doubt that you were paid by cash. That's all. Don't complicate. If the company doesn't pay tax, and you go ahead to include a tax certificate, I don't know if that would fly.

Sir do you mean payslips? What of in a case that the company pays tax (for their business) but doesn't remit for the workers, would one have to pay the back tax by oneself?

Case scenario- contract staff for two years (no tax or pension deducted, paid cash), full staff for one year plus (still cash but tax deducted on payslips, no pension) what should be the line of action sir?

You cannot use assessment from Canada for Australia. They are two different and distinct countries.

For those who want to pay for PTE Academic at the official price in Nigeria, just use a Zenith Bank MasterCard. It is a seamless transaction.
Thanks to @Bamz who gave me the info.
Also, all Nigerian Bank cards authorised for international transactions can be used to make payment on PTE and other Australian websites.

Depends on several factors
Assessment - A$700-1000
English test - N47k - N75k (depends on the English test you write asides rewriting)
State nomination : A$200-800 (depends on the state or regional area)
Visa application : A$4,045 (for single applicant)
Medicals : N45k -N75k (depends on the hospital and nature of medical history)

Just start already

A saying: if your car breaks down and you are still behind the steering looking for help, the chances of getting that is 12%.
But if you comes down and starts pushing your car by urself, people may gather to help out in the long run.(87% chance)

Just start, keep working, stay focused and you may be able to go all the way.
Impossibility is Nothing.

Hello,

I am currently in the process of conducting a skills assessment with the ACS. Must the employment reference letters be addressed to the ACS?

I am asking because I would prefer not to raise unnecessary questions (and do not want to use the statement of declaration route).

Would appreciate responses especially form anyone who has recently been assessed by the ACS. Thanks in advance.

No, it doesn't have to be addressed to ACS. You can use to Whom it may concern but ensure all the information requested is captured.

Make sure your job description aligns with marketing specialist job description on the Anzsco website. Its easy for vetassess to tell you that what u do is Sales rather than marketing.I know this cause i have been through it and got a positive assessment. You also need your direct manager to be able to answer questions concerning this when called.Your degree is not highly relevant to the chosen occupation but your years of experience should cover for this.Goodluck
