This incident reminds me of an event in my church. Last year, during Dec. 31 pass over night, we had to submit ourselves to a police officer armed with AK 47 to frisk us before we could be allowed to enter the church. I just shook my head, and said within me, so "holy spirit can not guarantee our safety, even in the church". The pastor no wan die from bomb blast.

Then you are not a good bible student. What roles did his disciples play? When the Jews came to arrest him someone drew a sword and cut off the ear of that enemy. Who was that? And was that not a form of physical security? Jesus did not need men's help, rather men made themselves available to help him.

The bible is filled with stories of wars and violent people. The children of God took steps to protect themselves, fight battles and secure victories. The great victories that they recorded are what you and I enjoy today. If the Pastors have security personel around them, it is very important. Cheers.
