In the eyes of the law, guilty mind is not the same as guilty act. Our laws vary so do not use a British incident to compare a Nigerian incident.

There are various ways of constitutionally removing a president without committing treason. It can be done in the law courts, or the masses can protest in such a way that the legislature will look into the grievances of the public, including an ineffectual and corruption-ridden election umpiring, and kick off a process that might lead to the legal impeachment of a president who is complicit in the crimes of corrupting the election process e.t.c


Moreover if a president corrupts the electoral process, it invariably means that the general population can no longer remove an unpopular president. This is no longer democracy by the way. Such a situation calls for Sowore's kind of intervention, afterall the people are being denied their right of hiring and firing their presidents.

Sowore took part in the election of 2019 so he must have a clearer insight, regarding the depth of corruption in the electoral process, so I am so sure Sowore knows what he's talking about and witnessed firsthand the removal of Nigerians rights to elect their leaders.
