Ignition only is supposed to power all lights on the cluster, start the engine, any red or yellow light, then you can bother, especially when its a red light.

If you didn't, you need a new radio. Your current one is not powering the camera.

Hold down information button and turn the tail lights from off to on 3 times ending with the light off. The display will be in service check mode. Press the menu button to go into diagnosis menu.
