I think understanding that bodies work differently and reacts to herbs/medications differently is important. You can't treat headache and Migraine the same way. It's not bad to visit "Alagbo" or "Elewe omo" as they call them or to share the herbal concoctions that worked when you had a similar experience.
Pile/Haemorroids appears in stages. The early stage, you notice that tiny little flesh that comes out during stool and goes back in the moment you are through.
The size increases with time (maybe owing to your ignorance to seek med help or at a time when your herbs might work) and you feel it during your visits for bowel movements.
It may get to a stage where you begin to notice blood stains on your stool and its painful to clean up as your hand touches the now-sensitive flesh. All this time, this extra flesh may still be going in once you are done in the toilet.
It gets to a point that it stops getting back in on its own and it relies on you to push it in.
Not trying to scare you at this point but it graduates to a point where it starts to peep even when you are outdoor and you'd need to cleverly find a way to adjust yourself.

I'm just curious because if your situation was handled by a consultant surgeon at a teaching hospital, the complication should have been manageable. Like I said, sometimes, complications do occur but sadly I'm not a doctor and I don't encourage herbal concoction. 5 Years is a long time. Please, if you have not visited a teaching hospital, do so. General hospital is not bad, but you get to meet with more Specialists at a Teaching Hospital. I wish you well friend. |

Hi OP, I am sorry about your situation.

. I share in ur pain. My wife had similar problem with pile. What she used dat made her own disappear was just lemon. Lemon has anti inflammatory properties which helped to heal her pile. She squeezes it into a cup of hot water and takes it first thing in d morning and last thing in d night. Over a period of time the pile shrank and disappeared. Just lemon. No sugar. No nothing. I have pile for years, since when I was little and this became worse by the use dairy products (milk, cheese) as I couldn’t tell I was lactose intolerant not until I traveled out of the country. But it (pile) became stage three i.e. it came out and I was able to push it back in. I was suggested many methods to manage it and I can tell you how I manage it. 1). Drink plenty of water daily. Drink like a cup or two after every meal. Let your target be 8 liters of water or 12 glasses. You will notice you urinate a lot; better. You will also notice that your urine is colorless like water; much better. Water is a natural stool softener and you need it. 2). Eat plenty of fibers daily. I personally take beans everyday as one of my meal. Oranges are fantastic too and they are cheap. Then bananas too. For soup learn to love Egusi soup, Okoro soup, and native beans soup called Ésha. 3). Learn the habit of opening your bowels (pooping) daily too. Try as much to every day. If you want to induce bowel movement drink lots of water when you wake up in the morning, rub your belly counterclockwise as you are drinking and you will pass stool effectively without struggling. You target is to make your bowel movement easy so avoid constipation by following my advice above. Anytime your pile is out gently push it back in and you won’t feel pain anymore BUT now that’s it’s out I guess it’s red and inflamed so do these things. 1). Put a very hot water in a bucket and sit in the bucket. The steam will relive the pains. Use some of the hot water to massage it too and for now bath with hot water. 2). Take pain killers to relieve the pain too and avoid seating down for now until the swelling is reduced. Depending on the damage it may reduce in a week or 2. Then gently use hot water to push it back in after it’s reduced and you can’t feel any pains. Sorry for the pains as I know how it feels. Again pile doesn’t cause premature ejaculation. |

Take at least 2 blended oranges a day, blend everything, apart from d seed and s back peel, cut d orange into four,peel d back,remove the seed and blend everything,drink morning and evening. 2.make sure ur food contains vegetables,plenty of vegetables, if possible, cook separately and eat as Much as u can. 3. Drink plenty of water, at least a glass every two to three hours. 4. This one u have to learn by urself, when defecating, try not to push with all ur strength, try to break ur poo into small small bit using ur anal muscles, this will help ur anal muscles to have time to heal, avoiding any new tear tone walls. 5.most important one,stop any foods that contains sugar,especially raw sugar- soft drinks,tea etc. 6. I am not one to reply on threads but I couldn't be silent on this one because of you and many others who might have the same problem. I suffered form anal fissure and pile for more than 3 years.
1. Please don't die in silence. It is difficult finding a lasting solution when you talk out, how much more when you are silent.
2. Ignore herbal remedies. I tried several ones. Too many to count.
2. Without delay, the remedies for pile encompass different strategies that I will list out.
a. Change in style: Ensure you each food rich in fibre. Drink a lot of water. Go to the toilet when you feel pressed, don't delay. You can also take cod liver oil to soften your stool during this period.
b. Have a hot sitz-bath. I mean you should sit of steam (not too hot oo) to massage your buttocks and shrink it. You can also add a little dettol to disinfect cos I know your buttock can be messy with blood during this period.
b. Exercise: Don't sit for too long during this period and be observant when you are getting uncomfortable. At a time, I sat on the pile and I almost died from the pain. There are some yoga poses that help strengthens the muscles in your buttock area (which I didn't try).
c. Drugs
i) Anusol ( and similar anal drugs) are mostly palliatives. They won't cure pile. Anusol will make defecating easier and might help push the pile in for some time. But you still have to keep using it, to ease you.
ii) Pain relievers: You may have to use them but don't get used to them. Some of them also have bad side effects for e,g. I started having chest pain after using a drug for so long.
d. Surgery:
You will want to visit a specialist in this area. e.g gastroenterologist or a proctologist.
For a general idea, there are recommendations
1. Leave it like that, it will go in. Don't take this solution if your pile is external cos it will go in for a while and return maybe another year. Back to square one. I suffered from my pile for almost 3 years before I decided I wasn't taking it anymore.
2. Rubber band ligation: This is one of the most tried and trusted methods for internal haemorrhoids(piles). It can also be used for external pile if done well. I actually used this method myself and my pile has not sufficed since then.
I mean placing a small elastic band around the base of the haemorrhoid.
3. Other methods include laser or infrared coagulation and sclerotherapy.
Rubber band ligation has proven itself and is effective in preventing a recurrence. So it is your best bet.
In summary, Tie that shit and strangle it till it cuts off.
PS: I am not a Dr. These are just information I gathered over the years from suffering and conquering pile. E go better. Rubber band ligation. I don't really understand. pls, can u help me with your number/WhatsApp let me call you for proper solution. Thanks sir. |
