I believe rebtel charges VAT. I used vectone for a long time before they reviewed their prices. I switched to rebtel but the VAT payment was a turn off. I now use white calling app. It's 6.5p per minute to Nigeria mobile. I just top up £5 or £10 at a time and use it for months. I have never used the bundle as I imagine it will expire after 30 days.

Vodafone international saver is £3 for 100 minutes.
7.5 for 500 minutes.

But you might need a contract to benefit from these discount

Thanks for clarifying @spacyzuma

For those who saw my post earlier complaining about the strange cost of IHS. We found at that the problem was Our choice of Browser oh! Please fill your forms on Firefox or internet browser not Safari. It messes with their math!

Putting it here so no one looses unnecessary money.

Ciao.

Government's £1,000 fee to register children as British citizens ruled 'unlawful'

https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-50855089

A government decision to charge £1,012 to register children as UK citizens was "unlawful", the High Court has ruled.

The fee applies to children born outside the UK, and those born in the UK before their parents were granted citizenship or settled status.

I agree at the bolded lol, you that always give good advise. For your peace of mind and if not expensive fix it yourself and mail the receipt to the agency, expressing how it greatly inconvenienced you and your disappointment at their services.

This LL seems to me like someone who will want to hold on to your deposit. If possible dont stay long in that house and keep all correspondence of complaints.

Hahaha Fati wants them to beat me grin

Before now, I was travelling 2 hours to work (via train o, I wasn’t relaxed in a car). All I cared about was moving! I just couldn’t make out time to view the house- I viewed like 4 but it was interrupting my work so much, I didn’t want to look like I was an unserious person (and na contractor I be). So I just asked the guy to do video let me see; the wonderful guy now recorded only the good parts and left the bad parts. Lol.

Citizens advice will sort me out. I just want to rest this holiday first- them go see fire next year: Either the evict me, or they paint the house- I win both ways!

Nigerian judiciary is working...the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Justice Muhammad Tanko, recently called for the improvement of the status of the Shari’ah law in Nigeria through the amendment of the relevant sections of the constitution.

Is it only judiciary? Nothing works in that country. The Queen entered same train with other passengers to go to her Norfolk home Sandringham, for Christmas.

The passengers don't 'work' in Nigeria.
Neither does the Queen.

Hahaha yeah I saw it on EE but I don’t want the monthly restriction. My credit lasts for months because I don’t call naija often

Pictures? Naa. I did better.

I did a 9 min video walking round the house showing them the state of the house. The fact that it can be a 9-min video sef says a lot. And now I feel sick: I used the extractor in the kitchen (oven hood) and ever since then I’ve been having dust in my throat (you know that feeling before you have catarrh in naija).

I’m just so happy because I have more to use to nail them. They promised to clean the house up but the dust in it eh- you’d think you’re in the Sahara. I’m guessing the extractor must have pulled in a bit of dust and then release it when I turned it on.

I don catch them.

To the best of my knowledge no, it can’t be done online. Someone has to walk into the bank on your half to do it. When you do it the first time, you can then manage it (re-invest) online.

If you have filled an indemnity form with your bank (I think that’s what it’s called) you won’t have to walk in physically, you will just contact your bank via email to make investments on your behalf.

Well I think you can write an instruction (signed) directing the bank to book TB at prevailing rate for you and debit your account for it. Then scan and send to the relationship officer managing your account (if u don’t have their contact, send a mail to contact Centre of the bank - they should get it for you)

I would say, Nigeria is stuck at the bus stop going neither forward nor backward.

Sterling Bank does it through their i-invest. (https://i-investng.com/)

Also, almost all the top i-banks in Nigeria have an online platform to invest in T-bills (be you home / abroad). For abroad, you have to notarize your utility bill and passport (if foreign).

This makes logical sense but then again we are talking about Nigeria here, thanks though.
