There are chickens every day in a year, there are Christmas lights and trees in shopping plaza every day in a year. If someone chose to celebrate his or her Christmas everyday, that’s none of my business. As far as your own doesn’t disturb my own we are all in one accord. Savi!!

People always interpret the Bible according to their own knowledge, The read it like history and story book because they don't have link with God, they source for information from what they read, watch or hear. If you want to know if they really serves God according to the way they say it every day, just try to wrong them and you will see the other side of them. CHRISTIANITY OF MOUTH NOT FROM THE HEART that's what they are.

Mfm should go and sit with shame how many people does he think he can deceive with his empty statement, what does he know what history does his church have well is not his fault is have seen many Nigerians that he can hand twist to become rich so let him followup with such unguided statement does he think he can rewrite the date of Christ birth

Who fixed the date? The Catholic Church did. The same they did for easter and Sunday service.

Why did they fix it for 25th?

I read half and I fell asleep. The article is cleepy sleepy.

You're not celebrating Christmas because according to you, Christ was not born on the 25th of December. That's okay, provide a date he was born and celebrate your own on that date and stop disturbing people unnecessarily.
Re: Christmas Celebration Controversy: MFM Releases Statement by Santinho: 11:59am On Dec 29, 2019
See them! But the Bible told you to name yourself General Overseer, Celebrate your birthday and even your Church Anniversaries and Marriage Anniversaries. You think you know more than the early church but rather, you are making yourself look less Intelligent and exposed.
Sometimes, I wonder if some of us even know the various battles and Persecutions the early church faced to sustain the faith we practice today.

Keep deceiving Yourself.

This is all that matters.
Respecting other people's view on CHRISTMAS and the way they chose to celebrate it!

True.
We respect your belief too MFM.
This Makes lot of sense also.

At the end of it all ,

Knowing that CHRIST is the Beginning and the END and he is also our personal LORD and saviour is all that matters.

JESUS IS LORD FOREVER AND EVER.

Christmas is unscriptural and satanic no wonder the scriptures says in Mark 7:6-9 that these people honour me with their lips but their hearts are far from me. They teach man-made ideas are commands from God. Christmas, Easter and New Year celebration are all pagan practices
Mr known all... Choosing 25 December may not necessarily mean that is the actual date of Christ birth... Just that a day was taken to celebrate it... Some people as old as Obasanjo don't even know their date of birth but they have to pick a date as theirs... Our greater grand father weren't capable of fixing a perfect calendar for such.... The coming of Europeans helped a lot

Holding camp meeting to kill perceived enemies. Dr Olukoya should please repent of this evil teachings and forms of prayers before it is too late.

How many witches did our Lord Jesus killed. He died for everybody including witches. I have seen some people involved in witchcraft activities saved by the power of God and they are now preaching the gospel.

Not just MFN. This prayer forms have spread like cancer to other denominations including the RCCG and Salvation Ministries. They are not just consistent with the teachings of our Lord Jesus. We should stop killing perceived enemies through prayers.
2Cor. 10.4 ... God himself stated his interest in warfare against evil powers and principalities.

At least you watch Nollywood. When you find yourself in a situation where there are custodians of evil powers in ur family (witchcraft or consulting babalawo etc) and are responsible for your misfortunes or a Yahoo family member has used ur undies while you're drying up. If you can pray for them as you die on, honestly I will commend you and tell the world about you..

i was told over the years that jesus was actually born.
i was told his birth was so important, god sent an angel to announce it even before he was concieved, and when he was born, making the statement that god is faithful.
i was told that when he was born, heaven celebrated it in the presence of god when they sang the first christmas carol: "glory to god in thw highest, and peace to men of goodwill.
as for the day, i wasn't told he was born on the 25th of december. i was told we celebrate it on the 25th of december.
for the day again, i was told that jesus gave men the power to make such decisions when he said "whatever you consider bound on earth, is considered bound in heaven
christmas tree, i was told that the earth is of the lord, and the fullness thereof. i was also told in col 1:15-16:“all things were made by him and for him(including trees and materials with which it was made) and in him, all things have their proper places.
for the day again, bible told us to tell you that "...Therefore do not let anyone judge you by what you eat or drink, or with regard to a religious festival, a New Moon celebration or a Sabbath day."

so i am really interested how you want to refute these and tell me it is unbiblical. would like to see it.

I am a Muslim (Check my name out) but to be very fair to all, Mountain Fire's grounds are without any solid base.

Let's examine why:

1. If they stand on their point that the death of Christ gives a better basis for the establishment of faith, we will understand their points honourably.

2. But to tell us that Shepherds will rather let their sheeps languish and suffer to death rather than taking them out for grazing in winter is dull and also lack any reasonable merit.

4. Government that are no respecter of anyone will consider weather in their attempts to get a project completed ? Where's is that done? Check again, the last two population census of America, Spain and Malta were carried out during winter....

Let us wait to see how other parameters are engaged to argue against the celebration of Xmas. These are not tenable.

It kind unfortunate, you have been program either never to read or to understand, where in the publication did they mention JESUS was not born on the 25th December? The publication said the foundation was idolatry
of course its Idolatry but it no longer is , it has been changed to something good. Our ancestors were Idol worshipers does that mean we are not fit to be Christians because of foundation is idolatry ?

it is fall and die that is in the scriptures. and who told him that people celebrating it think Jesus was born on December 25th.The understanding he is supposed to have in the scriptures that God doesn't want the death of a sinner he doesn't have instead he is busy fighting what adds or subtracts nothing from your Christian life. ignoramus

This is why we as africans hardly prosper. We spend too much energy on the wrong things. The kind of energy some ppl whom thinks that other christians are less holier than them put into castigating the christmas; if they put half of that energy into radicating poverty in their very own church, nigeria wud be rid of poverty easily. I'm celebrating christmas on a day made by Almighty God n not one roman god. Come n beat me

Fight for nothing..

Jesus was born...was Jesus never born?

If u like celebrate it weekly or hourly...na ur problem...

Just celebrate his birth.

I have read many books of history, occultics/paganism and Judaism. I used to hate Christmas until everything became clear to me.

The most important thing is to celebrate his birth. December 25 or not, just celebrate his birth...or shut d f up

Why can't they just go out and help the less priviledge instead of sitting in their hall and pray...Nigerians pray pray pray and their prayers are never answered....They know nothing about serving God and making God happy.

Let those mumu even deny Jesus was never born na.

The moment you accept Jesus was born, u have celebrated Christmas already...Thats what Christmas is all about...

I just see those finger pointin Christians as nonentities...

If you are not comfortable with December 25, do it on December 26 or do it everyday
