Ran across this picture of current GMD exchanging pleasantries with immediate past GMD at the much publicised former's children's wedding yesterday. I still recall when Baru handed over to Mele, when interviews were still ongoing, and there was so much hope it would be a smooth continuity into the recruitment project et al. One of my legs has already moved on from the recruitment now, but I am still praying we get to have closure sooner than we expect, hopefully next week or the subsequent one as has been insinuated. By mid-January, I would have no option than to move on completely.

People are finding it difficult to move on. They will say they will move on next week and when it gets to next week, they shift it to next two weeks. Since October, people have planning to move on and we re still here . NNPC Money sweet jor.

Apparently, the main issue was really the EH. there was no even spread between the states. While GT's had equitable distribution between States, EH was more lopsided towards a particular zone in the South. Then to make matters worse, you had cases of an Amaka or Solape claiming state of origin Kaduna. Little issues like that held it up. I do know HR has the list as cleaned up. it's now just a matter of the top giving instructions to send out the notifications.

Information from my 'sauce' in the past three months:
(1) October: process being delayed because the current GMD doesn't have budget to accommodate new employees.
(2) November: NNPC can't do anything now because of court case.
(3) December: the whole process has been cancelled because someone allocated 200 slots to himself alone.

I will only rely on public information from the NNPC GMD. That will not be misleading!!!

I believe the panalyst guy. Historically from past recruitments the EH struggle has always been very deadly. Competitors are all financially endowed, qualified, and highly connected.
